The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) today announced that registration for E3 2020: EVERYONE PLAYS will open February 15 at 11:00 AM EST, exclusively at www.E3Expo.com.

I mean im not a fan of sony's sole focus on linear 'cinematic single player experiences!' This gen (as i generally prefer multiplayer games, open world or games that have a good balance of both Solo/co-op and MP, like halo)

but i wouldnt discredit them altogether. bloodborne (and to a slightly lesser extent GoW) still sits as my favorite game this gen.

Anyway, I want to help steer to more mature ground.

Looking forward to what Nintendo has to offer. Sometimes their E3s have let me down, so it's not a slam dunk on hype, but more often than not, I have a great time, and usually discover games that I end up loving.

I'm hoping it's another of those really good E3s for them, and I'm glad Nintendo and Microsoft are still doing this. I hope Sony has their presentation at around the same time, so we can still enjoy 'Gaming Christmas'.

Mario Kart 9? Timing would make perfect sense but i doubt cause 8 Deluxe is still selling like hot cakes.

Nintendo responds to the ESA's decision to cancel E3 2020, offering support and understanding while also hinting at new plans.

I think Nintendo is at a pretty good postition, having moved to the Direct format years ago. Of course they have to cancel their plans for building their area and whatnot, but they can still send playable demos to stores, and host their Treehouse Live from their office. Of course, I'm not sure of they are willing to do it not with the virus and whatnot.
