The Wii Sports case is classy and clearly shows "this is a mini game compilation focused on these sports"
Nintendoland cover is just a busy, ugly mess.
wave race
f-zero
star fox
.....thats all i can think of at the mement.
Is it just me or are the NSMBU shots kinda ... well, compressed and Wii-like?
Pikmin looks like an iOS game.
Nintendo should really stop being lazy when it comes to graphics in their internal productions.

I looked back at the titles published in the launch windows. I agree with you about the Gamecube launch portfolio but not the Wii, Twilight Princess included into the equation.

North America: http://www.gamefaqs.com/search/inde...her=&dist=0&sort=4&link=0&res=1&title=0&adv=1Can someone point towards a list of release dates (mainly in 2012), as WiiU's "launch window" is fucking gigantic and useless.

Medalion said:Those Pikmin shots are from E3... and there was literally nothing talked abou this game at this latest reveal, which suggests a delay well into 2013
Since the E3 software list it's been listed as "Launch Window" rather than "Holiday".Pikmin does seem to have been pushed into 2013 as its now just a launch window title.
I can't stand the "it started as a Wii game" argument either, especially when a 5 person team with no recourses (Shin'en), managed to make an eShop game that looks a lot better than Pikmin.I can't stand the "it started on Wii" defence. Nintendo really should have done more with that game graphically, because Pikmin's art style has the opportunity to be really impressive if they try.
This thread needs more screenshots.
What's this monster hunter 3 ultimate, seriously, this is the first I've heard of it

Yeah, some people need to pay more attention. On the internet...GAFfer 1: Could Wii U have one of the best launch line-ups?
GAFfer 2: No way is it the best!
Fucking love this shot, looks like it could make great artwork, but that's in-game I think (the blur is what's throwing me off of seeing it as in-game).
Is the WiiU hardware pushing more colors?
Its just a strange visual effect I get from the games I've seen on this platform so far

Don't know if this has been said already but you can tell that Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is upscaled to 720p even on Wii U by looking at the screenshots.![]()
