Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. for 3DS National Open Tournament

Both Mario players chose the explosive up B but never use it.

Just stick with the default and actually have a good recovery.

I really hope at least the Wii U version lets you turn stage hazards off. There's so many stages that could be great to play on but just have one annoying little thing like the Yellow Devil or Flying Man that pretty much ruin them completely.

I guess that's what Omega mode is for...

But that just throws out the baby with the bath water.

Sakurai already said he doesnt want to turn this game into PSABR by doing that. (For real)

Umm... wow.

Yeah I hope its just a limitation of the 3DS's memory or something like how they don't have an option for low or high rates of items.

What's funny is that the 3DS version actually disables some hazards in 4-player matches, likely because it can't handle it. Try a 4-player match on Rainbow Road and you'll notice that the Shy Guy racers are gone.

Denver wrecked. It's the Superbowl all over again...

He represented the scene very well. Rosalina's just a zoneing character that happens to be hugely helped by the stage hazard and short time limit.

Love how the smash ball just sat on top of the cage for a second or two there. It wants some love and no one was giving it any.

Yep, it also does it when you are fighting unlockable characters. At least I don't remember seeing any Flying Men when fighting Ness on Magicant, for example. So the hazard-less versions of some stages are already programmed into the game and running, I just wish they would unlock them for use all the time...

Edit: Here's another great stage completely ruined by stage hazards. I hope Nintendo/Bill sees this shit going on and fixes it (not that Bill has any say in the game at all.)

So the only real answer for them not adding in an obvious option that's total common sense is Nintendo being Nintendo because Nintendo
