What? No, I was talking about the PS4Pro slide that was shown off. Normal PS4 is 720p to 900p in Action Mode (60fps), while on the Pro it's apparently a locked 1080p at the same framerate.

I'm expecting a story with something like DMC3, Bayonetta, or things like that. As long as it isn't complete garbage, where it's impossible to ignore how bad it is. Still, we've got quite a cast as you said. Famitsu pointed out that the Ice Yokai boss is

Kou Shibusawa's name being attached to the project gives rise to the idea that we'll likely get a pretty decent faux-historical story for this game, much like in his strategy games (re: Nobunaga's Ambition, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Kessen, etc.). Even though Team Ninja are the developers, they're doing more to bring his vision to life as opposed to something more in line with their usual fare for action games.
...Wouldn't be surprised if that was the reason the female roster in this title is still much more modestly dressed than in Team Ninja's usual works, for that matter.
I'd be fine in Team Ninja took a break from the fan service with this game though I do expect a big boobed half naked scary sexy Yokai eventually.

We already got Hino-enma (from the beta) and the Spider-Lady depicted in the trailer, among possible others. Even there, neither are anywhere close to Team Ninja's usual fare. It's actually somewhat refreshing!
I can't wait for the Tanuki boss/guardian spirit/npc.
He's based on an actual guy, who came from that general area.

Haha yeah. It is insane how much time I will put into the finished game with a lot more content than what the Alpha and Betas gave us.
It is just going to be rough going back to Souls series after this game.

Wasn't the story going to be based on an unfinished script by Kurosawa? In which case it's gonna be awesome. Either way though the game is so combat centered the story doesn't matter that much.

He's didn't. The guy came from Kent in England, not Ireland. They took artistic liberties and made him Irish.

I believe it's just Co op with other players.
That's too bad. Nioh seems like it would have fun MP. On the other hand not having MP allows Team Ninja to make a lot of OP weapons without having to worry about MP "balance" which is great.

I know it shouldn't, but the change really annoys me. lol
Same here,got ambushed by 3 guys and kept dying over and over around the same place,might rent this because it looks pretty good but I wont even come close to finishing this,just want to see how far I can go...oh well.
