Any other Nip/Tuck fans on GAF?
The first 10 episodes of Season 6 start tonight and will run through mid December!
This will also be the final season. :[

Sean and Christian struggle to keep McNamara/Troy thriving in a failing economy. Liz receives life-altering news. Matt and Kimber seek new, separate career paths with mixed results. Sean remains distant from Teddy despite their seemingly flourishing relationship.

Yeah, I had no idea until about a half hour ago.
Completely caught off guard, haven't seen a single ad for it or anything.

My local tvguide and wikipedia agree Season Six starts tonight!
 
I did not watch any of last season. Watching this season though.

Yes the show is on now lol. Not in january.

I thought the show was already dead! Read about whatshisface running off to do glee. NT has it's up and downs but I enjoyed it for the most parts.

I thought there was a season or two left before the end?

Oh well, I'm digging the opening/Economic Downturn aspect that the show is doing right now.

My favorite season was the one with that masked guy scarring people, that season was so awesome, everything after that was just bleh.

Not for a week.

And Season 2-3 was the Carver Arc. I don't have a problem with it like most others. Honestly, the show keeps me entertained even if it's kinda... yeah... overboard on things.

Haha, the Vaginal Uplift commercial is just... hilarious in how it tries to be crap like most late-night commercials and Kimber's "Acting" is wooden in it. :lol And Linda the assistant to the practice being on it... :lol :lol
 
I'm totally not digging Rose McGowan replacing the other chick as Teddy. Teddy isn't Teddy without the old chick and her wild side. :(

The "Garbage Salad" didn't have the impact with McGowan. Bring back the old chick in CGI on the DVD, FX! :(
 
this was a terrible episode. also the preview for the season did not even sell it to me. :-/
 
Just finished watching it.
One of the best, most hilarious episodes they've ever done.
At points I had to pause it I was laughing so hard.
Christian throwing a tantrum and yelling "I WANT MY GODDAMN YOPLAIT!"

We need a youtube video of their late night advertisement.


Jesus Christ, there were so many quotable/priceless moments. :lol
Rose Mcgowen was superfine too.
 
I've watched all of the seasons, so I have to watch this one (all that time invested). Anyways, I hope this season will be better then the last few....
 
Holy fucking shit.

I can't decide if this was the worst thing I've ever watched
besides Dollhouse
or if it was so bad that it crossed back over into being good.

Biggest WTF: Matt as a robbing mime.

I have the feeling that Ryan Murphy and crew are just messing with the audience now, in which case it's kind of a brilliant 'Fuck You'. Either way I'll keep watching until the end.
 
I liked the part where that dude walked in with his wife, Sean & Christian thought she wanted the vaginal procedure.
But the husband was like "after I saw the other doctor's abs next to you guys, it reminded me how I'm over the hill".
Ouch. :lol
 
Rose McGowan looking fine as ever was about the only good thing about that episode. Well, that and Sean and Christian's reaction to Matt being a mime.

edit, holy shit. The stuff after Mario Lopez came was funny, I liked those bits at least. Roastbeef sandwich and Lezboat were best:lol

Well this was filmed like a year ago, so it makes sense that the song is old they used. Matt as a mime robber basically summed up everything about the guy. He is a fuck up no matter what situation he is put into.
By the previews it looks like he goes on a robbery spree too
Totally in this guy's character to do something fucked up in every situation. No Christian banging a hot woman in this episode though, which was like a staple in every episode last season.

:lol Yeah, no. Dollhouse this season has been fantastic. Even pretending that the previous episode is anywhere NEAR the quality of this episode of Nip/Tuck is simply disingenuous.

Anyway, this was a terrible episode.
 
Read an interview with Dylan Walsh (Sean) today in the L.A. Times. He says he's really glad the show is done and got tired of the character.

So it's not like they don't know it's bad.

I don't see the resemblance. I wonder why Katie didn't do this season? Was she still doing Battlestar Galactica?

If I remember right, Battlestar had wrapped up when I started seeing her on Nip/Tuck...

She's filming 24. She choose Bauer over McNamara/Troy. :(

I'm disappointed that we didn't see any of Matty this week. The kid is obviously mentally weak, but robbing people as a mime is just so fun to watch!
 
Sweet, I thought it was coming next month too. Guess I'll have to catch up on Hulu.

Yeah last night was good. This show might not be great anymore--but it's damn entertaining, which is more than you can say for a lot of television.
 
Nah dude, they look so similar.
Watch the show. It's freaky.

They don't look EXACTLY alike but they have like the same chin and mouth and similar eyes.
