I've been wondering about that, too. I guess it depends on what Suda considers the actual "ending".

Quite possibly.
It's possible that he goes after Henry to get revenge. Not sure why, but I think there may be some connection to what happened in No More Heroes.

I don't want to do too much speculation with little information, though. It would be nice if he did connect it to the first game in some way.

Just recently ordered No More Heroes (for a nice $25) after seeing this announcement. It will be interesting to actually try this game after seeing all of the excitement for the sequel.
 
I wonder if this will use motion plus?

On a side note I hope we don't have to ride that motorcycle around town, I hope to god for instant transportation to my goals. Please Suda make it happen.

As I said back there,
he killed his idol, AKA Shinobu's dad...
 
Shinobu was hard, because the difficulty of her battle ramps up much higher than Heavy Metal or Dr. Peace. She's alot faster, and has a much larger variety of attacks. Yeah if you know everything she's gonna do, you can finish her pretty easily, especially if you have the Mk III maxed out.
 
Now if they fix the Dynasty warriors gameplay and hallways after hallways level design, we might have a decent game here. They got alot of work to do.

There are very few games one can forgive...NMH is definately one of them, because A) Suda seems to make aesthetically beautiful/pleasing games. B) Controls are but an after thought for him.

If only he knew how to implement better control...

I gave up at her. I'm gonna restart the game (on easy) and try again.

The first time I played against her? Not kidding, it took me over 2 hours straight of retries. Sure once you know how to handle her she's easier, but when I first got to her I was eating this game up like sweet sweet candy and then this beast rolls up to me and takes me t w o f r i c k i n hours straight to beat. I died. Brutally.

Seriously any other game I would have stopped right there, but who could possible do that here?!

What ?!?! the controls were great and one of the few things I would not change
 
Eh, I don't know what to think of this. I loved Killer 7 but NMH was a bit bland. The city was boring, the jobs were lame, and the waves of enemies you fought weren't anything special. And the bosses took forever to bring down since you have to learn their patterns then wait for the right moments to attack.

I just realized: this will probably be published by Xseed in the U.S., won't it?

Hopefully they handle the game better than Ubisoft did.

Yeah, I was gonna say, XSEED has been the one in charge of NA publishing for Marvelous games for the last few months.

They can't do a worse job than Ubisoft did.

Hey btw how do you think NMH2 will be treated in Europ... sorry I meant, will blood and decapitations be included in Sudas vision or will they be added later to the inferior US-version? ;)
 
I really hope Suda soes more with the segments in between the game. The weakest part of NMH was when you weren't fighting for rank the city is BARREN.

QFT. The JPN/PAL boxart was busy but great, and way better (and more fitting) than the US one.
