I believe in interviews, the opposite was stated, actually. This is more FFX style, except now Hamauzu is Uematsu.
Also, judging by what we've heard so far, he's doing the overseeing of some of the others compositions as well as doing collabs.

They have stated Hamauzu is the main composer of the team they've assembled, in interviews as well.

Well, you're just confirming what Reveirg is saying if the sharework is like FFX. Uematsu did roughly 1/3 of FFX.

That's what I'm thinking, if the Japanese version is fairly well received I'll stick with it. The artbook sounds like it's tossaway crap (well, except it's probably part of the case, so throwing it away would be dumb), but the soundtrack was what made me envious of Europe in the first place.

I really dislike when LE's don't come with actual cases. The last one I got like that was Deus Ex: HR, and that really bummed me out. It was a stupid cardboard thing... ugh.

But I'd buy the OST anyway, which would be like $60 to import. So I can live with bleh packaging I guess.

Mine had one for XII, which was my first midnight launch... and the most anticlimatic because my PS2 died while I was away from home and my brother was playing it. It was in bad shape for awhile, but what a night to kick the bucket.

My GS did midnight launches for both FFXII & FFXIII. Both had sizable crowds, though obviously not CoD-sized ones.

Headed home now and I'll probably see if it's in the system at GS and change it over to the LE.

Yep. Found out that we don't have the LE sku at GS yet so I'll probably switch it over the weekend. Nice to have a reasonably priced LE for an SE FF game.
