Umm who remembers that thread about vagina's smelling like fish that got derailed hard, resulting in 5 pages of gif replies. Thread so good, mods decided to delete it altogether :(
 
Can't find it yet but the thread about really poorly-made celebrity wax sculptures was probably the hardest I've ever laughed on GAF.
 
Nudes for PSP. Remembering this scored me a Paula Mother 2 figure at the last Toronto-GAF meetup. I also got a Jeff. :)
 
The best one has to be the thread about the free Masons, Yakub, and OP refused to believe that slavery existed because he never saw the slave ships.

Wow I have never seen this one. I'm on page 3 and the damage control this guy is doing is mind-blowing.

Here are some of my favorites.

Safe Moist As Dudes: A poster rambles on about possible tech Sony could incorporate, and is met with apathy and skepticism. The OP doesn't take kindly to this and makes the most bizarre insult ever. The entire thread is hilarious, especially the first few pages. THE DREAMERs

Layton Twitter turns out to be a fake: This one requires a bit of back story. There was a Twitter account that was run by someone acting as Layton in-character. A poster named Wii Will Rock U made a topic or two about it, and it even got some coverage on sites including IGN. Some speculated it was a viral marketing thing, but overall it wasn't followed very closely on GAF. In this topic, it's revealed that the twitter wasn't actually an official one from Nintendo. The Master of the Google Search reveals that the Layton twitter is actually run by Wii Will Rock U, ergo he had been sneakily advertising his twitter account on GAF. Cue pages of begging not to get permabanned.

For having an expectation of an OP to actually provide information on what it's talking about/why it's noteworthy, as opposed to just dropping a couple of names and a situation and expecting people to search for who they are and why it's noteworthy.

Realistically, there are far worse things I could've been tagged with from other things, so this isn't that bad.
 
A guy posted that his father gives the worst Christmas gifts. He links a picture to a statue of a frog playing the violin, suggesting his dad got it from the dumpster. Everyone turns on the OP for not being grateful for even getting a gift.

Wasn't there a person that draws outlines of people sexually harassing people in photos?

God those are sad. It honestly makes me feel terrible for maing fun of him because those are horrible conditions. I think I see rat turds. :(
