Dec 2008 NPD
DS - 3.04 million
Wii - 2.15 million
So MS has a ~1 million unit gap on the next system apparently.
Yoikes!!

I'm surprised Ass Creed is so high..
Wasn't this 30 bucks? Wha happened?
Skyward sword would normally be much higher without combined platforms.Legend of (almost) Flopda
Nice to see Skyrim so high, though.
It's $40..
My bet BF3/Skyrim/Mw3 happened
Zelda seems low, but it was only out towards the end of the month. How did TP do? Does this mean bomba?
It sold 534,000 through Nintendo's black friday press release.

The gap has to be less than 890,000 as it's the largest gap between 1 and 2 "since" December 2008. You would need to find the next largest gap between 1 and 2 since then, if you can be bothered to go through the figures.Dec 2008 NPD

Madden was released a month later this year, sales should be higher than last year.
Uncharted > Zeruda
Zelda is the only game on there on one platform.Legend of (almost) Flopda

The same paragraph referred to the DS doing the same thing back in 2008, so probably not.Unless theyre selectively excluding portables.
Oh fuck Uncharted over Zelda and Halo, meltdowns incoming. None of the platform-exclusive games sold over a million copies. None.
Fixed.
Zelda is the only game on there on one platform.
But its Zelda on Wii, at the end of console's life.Gotta say, that's a surprise. It's freaking Zelda.
True, but even Uncharted beat it. :/
How many days did it have to chart compared to Skyward? It sold 534,000.
good pointTrue, but even Uncharted beat it. :/

Is still low, I mean Uncharted 3 did more, skyward bomb indeed.

Oops
Uncharted 3 came out November 1st, and Skyward Sword came out November 20th. I wouldn't call SS a bomba yet.

Uncharted had the whole month. Zelda had about a week, maybe a little more. Both are very well respected console exclusive. Of course the one with more time is going to sell more.
Unless theyre selectively excluding portables.
Well, it's no Uncharted.
:/Uncharted 3 beat it.
Zelda is slowly dying.
I had a feeling Zelda would "flop." Nintendo's fault for launching it in November, Zelda can't hang with the big boys. Times have changed!
It was released at the end of the month, but still. It's doing shit in Japan too, I don't expect a huge turnaround in North America either.

Wii has nearly double the userbase....
From the NPD release:
“This is the fourth consecutive month in which the Xbox 360 has been the top selling hardware system. The gap between 360 sales and sales of the next best selling platform was the largest we’ve seen since December 2008 when the Nintendo DS was the top selling system.”
So I'm assuming handhelds are being counted here.
Uncharted sold more first week in the UK if I'm not mistaken. Makes sense the pattern would hold here.
Uncharted had 20 more days to sell in this NPD than Zelda, so take that into account.
Over 500k in a week for Zelda is bad now? WTF
I wonder if Uncharted 3 will be close to a million as I predicted last month...
