Styles, Daniels, Joe, Angle and Nigel/Desmund.

TNA might have the best upper card in wrestling right now, and that includes ROH.

Attempted this early this year, but was talking with Mr. Y2kev, and curious if anyone would be interested in doing a Mania Marathon of sorts throughout the early part of next year leading up to 26.

As you can tell, I enjoy these little re-watch projects. :lol

Just watched turning point, my first TNA ppv ever. Man this was a great ppv, matches are so much more exciting and unpredictable than the WWE.

But are all the ppv's in the same small venue's as the Impact! tapings?

Current WWE is complete crap. This new generation is awful and the matches are way too "systematic". So predictable. I get more enjoyment watching TNA cuz of the roster and EcW/WcW/Japan type wrestling.

In some great news for WWE fans, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson told the Jack Diamond Morning Show in Washington, D.C. that he is working closely with World Wrestling Entertainment to create a special edition of programming, and also indicated he has a "great relationship" with Vince McMahon.

"I love that world and being able to entertain, especially if I could go back and it's on Smackdown and do a promo or guest host or we could create this cool show, whatever that may be," Johnson said. "Especially now, I'm at the point where I can go back and give back to the fans and help out guys in any way I can...

"Right now, we're trying to put together - there is always something cool and interesting for me to do. I would like to do something more than just host the show. I'm in the process of creating something really cool for the fans - something very special and unique. It will be something like one big entertaining show."

I would be looking forward to Kofi and Orton, but for some reason they are in a 5 on 5 SS match instead.

Meh

I thought it was the right booking, I mean allows them to extend the feud and not burn through it like they have a habit of doing.

Also, I see Kofi potentially pinning Orton to win... setting up a match at TLC.

That said... this card looked good on paper, but honestly..

They did nothing to build around the Raw Triple Threat
And Jericho can wrestle, but Taker is still semi hurt, and Show is Show
Batista/Rey has potential, but hear Rey is still injured.

The 5 on 5 matches should be good fun as long as booked better than people losing to clotheslines and small packages

There's always one of these spots - I'll pick Seamus pinning Evan off an elbowdrop.

I remember guest-booking someone's Extreme Warfare Revenge diary a few years ago and booking HHH to pin Sylvain Grenier off a punch... good times.

-WWE are very concerned with Rey Mysterio's knee injury - they believe he needs surgery very soon, and the surgery will keep him out of action for six months, once again ruling him out of WrestleMania. Mysterio had previously missed WrestleMania 23 and 24 through injury. There are fears that Mysterio's combined injuries will lead to retirement sooner rather than later.

-WWE are planning to book The Undertaker vs. Batista for the World Title at the Royal Rumble, with Batista going over and taking the title to WrestleMania. They have also somewhat demoted CM Punk, though more with the aim of helping put over R-Truth and getting him closer to the main event.

-The segment on SmackDown featuring Mickie James was designed to send a message to her that she should put wrestling first. WWE aren't happy that Mickie is going outside of the company for her country music career, and believe she's heading down the same path as the likes of The Rock and Stacy Keibler, who let their outside endeavours overtake their WWE commitments. The segment was also designed to send a message about her weight.

Her WEIGHT? Seriously... what the fuck?!?

Suprise WWE, that's a VERY attractive female figure there. Just because she's not a walking skeleton like Undertaker's fucktoy, you have to embarrass her on national TV?

So... PG rating means no blood or ultra-violence... but completely destroying a really gifted and attractive female worker is A-Ok!

re: Mickie Segment

It was really out of touch for something WWE to do. We read all along how Vince wants some Divas (reportedly prior to Mickie, it was Candice and Rosa, lol k). So a segment is featured calling her a pig. The hint was more towards "lose the weight" than anything she has interest in outside the WWE. Wrestlers/Divas can't have hobbies or other interests anymore? Unless you do WWE Movies, which are beyond awful.

Agree with Outcast. Mickie's body looks 10x better than McCool's. Smh.

Dave as champ (as a heel) is odd, since the only faces really who would challenge him are Rey (who is going to be out of action) and the Undertaker. It would've been so wonderful if they had Christian move to Smackdown back when Edge got hurt rather than Matt Hardy. Meh.

You know, if Mickie worked in any other line of work other than wrestling... she'd have a pretty solid discrimination lawsuit on her hands. It's pretty fucking low and crude... even for Vince.

Sorry, the whole thing still blows my mind.

That is about as unprofessional as you can get. It's utterly ridiculous that Vince can do that shit and get away with it. It's just as bad as when he made everyone kiss his ass.

Brad's WWE Survivor Series 2009 Predictions

WWE Championship
Triple H vs. John Cena (c) vs. Shawn Michaels

John Cena over DX

World Heavyweight Championship
The Undertaker (c) vs. The Big Show vs. Chris Jericho

The Undertaker over Big Show and Chris Jericho

Batista vs. Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio over Batista

Team Kingston vs. Team Orton - Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match

Team Kingston Over Team Orton

Team Morrison vs. Team Miz - Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match
Shelton Benjamin, Evan Bourne, John Morrison, Matt Hardy, and Finlay vs. Jack Swagger, Sheamus, The Miz, Drew McIntyre, and Dolph Ziggler

Team Miz over Team Morrison

Team Mickie vs. Team Michelle - Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match
Mickie James, Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly, Melina, and Gail Kim vs. Michelle McCool, Jillian Hall, Beth Phoenix, Layla, and Alicia Fox

Team Mickie over Team Michelle

Predictions:

World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker vs. Big Show vs. Chris Jericho : Jericho will carry the match, so hopefully that should be enough. Although it would be awesome to see Jericho walk out on Raw tomorrow with three belts, it's obvious where they're going to go with this.
Winner: Undertaker

Rey Mysterio vs. Batista: Their match on Smackdown a few weeks ago was pretty decent, so I'm interested to see what they will do for this PPV. Rey will probably get murdered after the match, per his contract obligation to be completely destroyed once a year.
Winner: Batista

Team Kingston vs. Team Orton (Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match): Everyone is thinking Kingston's team has this, but I'm going to go with Orton. Kingston has a lot of momentum, but I really don't see them burying Orton like this. I say Orton gets the win here as he's been jobbing pretty much the entire rivalry.
Winner: Team Orton

Team Morrison vs. Team Miz (Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match): I'd like to see Morrison win considering how lame the finish was to his match with the Miz. The match will probably end after a screwjob by Swagger or Sheamus DQing himself or whatever.
Winner: Team Morrison

WWE Champion John Cena vs. Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels (Triple Threat Match): The buildup for this match has been mediocre, but I still think it could be a fun bout. Cena wins for whatever reason.
Winner: Cena

Team Mickie vs. Team Michelle (Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match)
: I don't even know who's in this match. But I picked two heels to win and three faces, so let's make it even.
Winner: Team Michelle

TP was great, and lately almost all PPV's are held in Impact Zone cos of the bad economy. This year there was only 3 PPV's outside of Orlando [usual ones, Lockdown, Slammyversary and Bound for Glory, all great PPV's], and last year there was 8 of them. Hopefully next year there will be more PPV's and iMPACTs on the road.

Is it just me or has WWE become mind-numbingly boring these last few weeks?

I mean, it was crap before, but I honestly couldn't give two shits about the PPV tonight, and I've been FFWDing RAW and SD more than ever for the last few weeks. :lol

CM Punk show was the best TV show in wrestling until Batista and Undertaker came back and CM PUNK got buried. /sigh
FIXED.

There's a PPV tonight?

You know whats sad, Mickie always wins all type of contest on the WWE, and Vince still things that type of body is bad.
Vince wants his women to look like Michelle McCool. I don't know about you guys, but seeing a woman's ribcage isn't exactly a turn-on.

You guys put too much stock in what PWInsider says.

You realize they like to make shit up a lot right?

You got the wrong site in mind. PWInsider doesn't run anything unless they can confirm the story from other sources.

They regularly run corrections and story retractions if something is wrong.
