I just don't see how, even with MCC and price, that this could happen in the US. The gap is quite big and growing every month. And it's not like the other guys aren't competing for Nov.

I've been wrong before, but the math just doesn't get me to where this happens.

And you're right, even if they do win the month, not sure how it'd be sustainable.

Yeah, even if they manage to sell more during these two months, it's very unlikely they'll close the gap, as the competing system isn't about to stop selling. At best they'll just slow the widening of the gap for a while.

I'm surprised it beat zelda! I knew animal crossing was popular but zelda and Mario are repeatedly championed as the one and two pieces of software synonymous with Nintendo.

Aqua, I haven't spoke to you much directly so ill be brief. Its good to have you back, but please be careful about over extending yourself. No matter how much you appeal to peoples better nature, there will always be some dickhead who doesnt play ball.

I also think that this thread has proven that NPD numbers should not be revealed Hint and discuss but thats it.

The Amazon rankings boost for the PS4 has to be real.

It jumped to 1st, then back down to 6, and now back up to 4.

If this was still due to the $89 scam, it wouldn't jump back up after it started falling, would it?

I really doubt a couple of sketchy listings like that would have boosted the PS4 so much.

People keep being surprised that the PS4 really is selling so well.

If this really is due to GTA and it continues to rank higher than the One, I think Sony will pull another victory.

I don't see why the standard PS4 will explode in sales now, specially with black friday bundle coming soon.
