Nvidia blasts ATI! - mocking ATI's paper launch of CrossFire

ATi should make one of these for Nvidia. My 6800 has all sorts of problems playing WMV for some reason. Everything gets doubled in size and cuts off the corners if that makes sense, so you can only see the middle of the video. That and video was all washed out until i did some research online and figured out how to fix it. If anyone knows how to fix my video problem I would appreciate help alot. I am not absolutely sure it is the card, but I think thats probably it.

What, from nVidia?

If they were coming off of the 5*00 series, I could understand, but their more recent cards have been kicking ATI's ass.
Yes... But NVIDIA lost market share in the last months.

Q1 2005:
Intel - 43.1%
ATI - 26.1%
NVIDIA - 17.9%

Q2 2005:
Intel - 43.7%
ATI - 26.8%
NVIDIA - 15.9%

ATI has been really late with their new cards. But I wouldn't have expected damage control like this from NVidia. They do seem rather desperate there. Crossfire is gonna be better with the new cards. So, it's a kinda lame comparison.

As for the vid card fanboys, I don't get it. I say it everytime. The last word is the benches. I've owned ATI and NVidia cards. I'll buy the best card, regardless of who makes it. This isn't consoles. You can play the same damn games on both cards. I loved my GF2 Pro, and I love my 9600 Pro. The best card gets my money. I said people should wait for the R520. Unless it costs a lot more than the G70, it looks like it might be the card to get. PEACE.

This is always a back and forth game. Obviously, Nvidia is trying to exploit their position right now, which is admittedly superior to ATIs. We'll see what happens when ATIs next-gen card gets released- which should be very soon.

am i the only one that thinks the building without HDR looks better?

Kinda' yeah. I just think that they went overboard with the HDR. They jacked it up so much that too much shadow detail is lost. They totally changed the aesthetic of the picture; and they didn't need to to make it look better.
