- A bug can make the game run at 45~50fps on XSX. To solve this restart the console
- Texture detail, anysotropic filtering, foliage density, all lower on Series X
- Resolution in Quality mode tends to hover between native 4K and 1800p on PS5, goes down to 1440p often on Series X
- Reduction in LODs on XSX.
- 120Hz mode turns Tesselation off on Series X completely. All the rest becomes even worse than the PS5 version. LOD is reduced significantly.
- 120Hz mode runs at 1080p on X versus 900p on PS5, but there are lots of graphical details simply gone in X.
- 120Hz mode seems to run about 1 to 2% better on Series X. 117 vs 115 fps on one track, 116 x 115 on the other. In general performance is great on both.
- Performance seems identical or slightly favoring PS5 in 60FPS mode.

Please wait
Surely you can't be serious? DF also made a video, why not him? When the patch is released, make an update. Done.
Have CM given a date for the patch? Do you expect people to put their lives on hold waiting for better "tools" LMFAO

It's been 3 weeks since the last version, why do a video now when the dev has confirmed that things are fucky and a patch is coming? Makes no sense lmao

3 weeks and no patch. How long are we meant to wait?

Doesn't matter, the question was what's the point of the video? DF made the video weeks ago, devs confirmed that the game is buggy on Xbox and a patch is coming. And now several weeks later... he makes a video of the same buggy version? Weird flex but ok :messenger_tears_of_joy:

They made the video when the game game out. It was from DF that most discovered the differences between the platforms (up to the release no one knew how the PS5 performed).

This video is pointless.
No it isn't. NXGamer usually goes way more in depth than any other channel. Also as I said... just make an update later. Like DF will do.

1080p vs 900p? I wasnt aware of that. PS5 is sub-HD? 😲
Yup and like he said it still looks quite a bit better than the XSX because the assets are higher resolution, have better filtering and AO and some details are even completely missing on Series X.

Edit: the Series X also runs at 900p in certain moments, but the average res is 1080p.

The present is all that matters, future may never come. He’ll do another one after they release the patch.

XSX 120Hz Mode: High Resolution 1080p, Average Resolution 1080p, Low Resolution 900p.

Are the calculations correct ?

A local pond.
Why do this video before the announced patch is implemented? Easy clicks?

ridiculous as usual, he is running his own analysis and has been doing other work, he only has two hands and has only just got around to this one. his in-depth analysis is far better than any of the other firms, this shit takes time.

Stop moaning and be thankful your getting high quality work.

He must not do a video because you don't like the results, how long must we wait for a patch?

Great work once again NXGamer NXGamer , don't mind the salty comments, keep the good work coming.

Ps, your uploading skills still sucks "lollipop_disappointed:

So you mean after all the graphical cuts on Series X, massive cuts btw.....The XBOX is only 1-2% faster in 120Hz mode......Man the PS5 truly dwarfs the XBOX in performance and grit...This only shows that if PS5 had XBOX settings, it would probably run at a locked 180fps at 1080p...

Needs some stats. Don't know why Vgtech has not done a video on Dirt yet....

Being lower detail was a choice not a bug, DF just didn't want to call it as such. 1 'round' light showing as a nut, sure it's a 'bug' but that is not happening here, there's a plethora of settings that are reduced when compared to the PS5.

Guaranteed if the promised patch matches the PS5's quality, performance and resolution will suffer.

Another video on the same thing just means another thread packed with 'hilarious' tools jokes, from actual tools.

Tiresome as fuck. And then when the situation inevitably reverses we'll have to put up with the same shit from the other side - although admittedly it's not quite as obnoxious, as Xbox fanboys are somewhat less militant than the Sony cult members.
