This isn't rocket science. When someone is about to break your ankle, you don't no sell you foot and walk up the ramp when the match is over. Not when you have that uneven of a talent going head to head. The booking was as bad as her selling which made for a poor match. Kenny Omega had nothing to do with that.

The point is you shit on the psychology of this match and praised the Naito/Omega match for its, yet Omega is a pretty damn spotty ring psychologist at best. Also, the match was mostly fine, with Bayley trying to go hard in the paint but not being able to get on Asuka's level. Never quite clicked for what they are going for, but to hone in on the ankle when it wasn't that big a part of the match and mostly served as a convenient cover for a botch is quite odd.
