Nyko Sound Pad Release Date, Pricing

The Nyko Sound Pad for Xbox One and Playstation 4 consoles has been revealed with a release date of March 31, 2020. It will cost $24.99 USD on either platform to purchase. This is a rather interesting additional item that allows you to use eleven programmable buttons to send a fun sound effect over chat.

On top of sending these sounds, there’s also a cancellation button that can halt the audio being sent at any given time. This will attach to either controller through the 3.5mm port.

There’s also headset pass through so you can continue using your headset without any issues and send sounds through. The volume for sound effects can be adjusted through a dedicated volume control. The buttons are also backlit providing an easy way to use this device in darker environments. There’s also an internal rechargeable battery which uses Micro USB, for charging.

I had something similar to this for the xbox 360 . it was fun. i recorded five 5 second sound clips. It was fun.

My favorite sound clip I'd use when we'd play shooting games like Halo, or Rainbow 6 was from Space Balls, "Keep firing assholes!". Everyone would laugh
