Obscure-Rap-age: So I finally discovered lil' B

I've been sleeping on Lil B. Didn't really give him a chance due to the mass hype/hate on the internet, but now he's on heavy rotation here. I've only listened to a few recent mixtapes and God's Father, which I really like.

I love the obnoxiously chaotic production on some of his tracks, it reminds me of the local mixtapes that used to be passed around my school.

yeah I definitely love it for some songs but on others I feel they could be so much better with cleaner mixing
 
Everything Based is a classic. It has Pretty Boy, which was the first Lil B song I heard after Vans back in the day. The new Lil B initially confused the hell out of me back in 2009. Now Lil B is my idol. I wish I had based earlier in my life.
 
Just saw Lil B live. It was life changing. I was in the front row and was literally within a foot of him for a good percentage of the show. I tied his shoe for him at one point; Task Force must protect the Based God. I wrote "TYBG" on his Vans. He played Wanton Soup and everyone rushed on stage. The concert was so based. At the end, Lil B said that we are all beautiful and equal.

Tying his shoe so he wouldn't trip over his lace. Very rare.
