I think there was a huge missed opportunity in not making Heck the company mascot. All of Obsidian's games could use their own Operation Turbo Panther.WANT! Need more Steven Heck in my life.
Why is this game so loved by people though? Looks really dull and clunky.

The writing and characters are really good, and dialogue/branching cutscene system is still pretty unmatched in a big budget game and full of secrets and optional paths to discover if you poke at it. The combat is clunky and weird, but at the same time once you get used to how it works there's a ton of options as to how to approach any given scenario. Why is this game so loved by people though? It is dull and clunky. It also has a bunch of cool ideas and a setting like no other. Why is this game so loved by people though? Looks really dull and clunky.
They could just ask Nintendo to get it made for Switch.
It wouldn't be the first time Nintendo brought back a Sega IP for a sequel.

I wonder why all these outlets were at Obsidian. And I hope that it wasn't just PoE related, I want to see the new Cain/Boyarsky game dammitIn the meantime, look out for a load of coverage of Obsidian's culture and history on the site. A couple of weeks ago, Chris and Bertie (plus some of our friends at VG247, Rock, Paper Shotgun and USgamer)
Ah, I didn't connect the dots until now but that's probably why USGamer just yesterday put up a story on the last moments of Black Isle, with comments from a lot of current (although also ex) Obsidian staff.Yes please. Alpha Protocol was just some (well, a lot of) polish away from being amazing. And I still can't believe that Sega just let it sit on a shelf for a number of months.

Get a kickstarter up guys.
I still don't get why they need the Alpha Protocol IP, I mean I like some of the characters in it but I don't need to see any of them come back.
Came to post this exact thing, gif included!TURN UP~THE RADIO!
DO IT!!!!!!
Oh, so they did.Ah, I didn't connect the dots until now but that's probably why USGamer just yesterday put up a story on the last moments of Black Isle, with comments from a lot of current (although also ex) Obsidian staff.
Hopefully it's leading up to something awesome.
Yup, the Cain/Boyarsky game, supposedly an action RPG using the Unreal engine.Obsidian do have an unannounced game, I believe.

Nevermind the fact alone that a sequel would be awesome, I kind of want this to happen now just for the amount of salt and tears it would bring. It'd be like another Bayonetta 2.They could just ask Nintendo to get it made for Switch.

This would require a publisher wanting to work with Obsidian a second time.
You mean like Paradox publishing Tyranny after working with them on Pillars of Eternity? Something like that? This would require a publisher wanting to work with Obsidian a second time.
I hated how AP got such a bad shake in the reviews, I stopped caring about reviews around then. Not a perfect game by any means, but definitely got unfairly treated by the reviews I saw.
