Ocarina of Time 3DS apparently developed by Grezzo (Line Attack Heroes)

With both Lylat Wars and OoT being brought back for the 3DS I wonder if they'll include the Arwing cameo in OoT 3DS.

It would be pretty cool if we got a 2D console Mario & Luigi game and Paper Mario for the 3DS wouldn't it...
personally, I'd rather see them work on something else for once, but that would still be pretty awesome (and fairly likely as there's no way that the 3DS would get a Paper Mario game AND a Mario & Luigi game)

That makes far more sense than it has any right to.

Wow, I bet the guys at Grezzo shat themselves when they were asked to remake the most critically acclaimed game of all time.

Fixed. Seriously, if they cock this up they'll be forever known as the most useless planks to ever exist.

it is an enhanced port definitely.

even an old glitch from the N64 version was confirmed to work on the 3DS port recently.
Out of curiosity, what glitch?

This is actually quite the megaton really.. I'll give a quick overview of what we know Nintendo are working on and what we can assume they're working on to give some perspective.

Nintendo EAD Studios (Kyoto)

Group 1: Have developed Mario Kart, Nintendogs and Nintendo DSi Sound in the past

Currently Developing: Mario Kart 3DS
Next Title: Likely Next Generation Mario Kart

Group 2: Have developed Animal Crossing, Wii Series and Starfox Command (in association with Q-Games)

Currently Developing: Animal Crossing 3DS
Next Title: Most likely developing a Wii Series title or a next generation launch title

Group 3: Developers of the Legend of Zelda franchise

Currently Developing: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Next Title: Likely have been working on Zelda 3DS for a while now

Group 4: Have developed 2D Mario platformers, NPC Pikmin titles, Band Brothers and Big Brain Academy

Currently Developing: Unknown
Likely Developing: Pikmin 3 and New Super Mario Bros. 3D

Group 5: Have developed Wii Fit, Wii Fit Plus and Steel Diver (in association with Vitei Inc.)

Currently Developing: Unknown
Likely Developing: Unknown

Nintendo EAD Studios (Tokyo)

Group 1: Have developed Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat, Super Mario Galaxy and Jibun de Tsukubu Nintendo DS Guide

In Development: Super Mario 3DS

Group 2: NPC! Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat, Flipnote Studio and Super Mario Galaxy 2
In Development: Unknown
Likely Developing: Next Generation 3D Mario platformer

Comprehensive Software Development Group

Have developed: Super Mario 64 DS

Developing: Starfox 64 DS

Brownie Brown: Currently developing Fantasy Life 3DS

HAL Laboratory: They just finished work on Face Raiders and helped with Kirby's Epic Yarn

Currently developing: Kirby Wii and Kirby DS

Intelligent Systems: Currently Developing Paper Mario 3DS but could also be developing a new Advance Wars for 3DS along side it

Monolith Soft: Last developed Xenoblade Chronicles, working on unknown projects

Nintendo Software Technology: Developing unknown projects

Project Sora: Currently developing Kid Icarus: Uprising

Next Title: Could potentially begin working on a next generation Super Smash Bros. title

Retro Studios: Have developed the Metroid Prime series and Donkey Kong Country Returns

Next title: Unknown, however they only took 18 or so months to make Donkey Kong Country Returns so depending on whether they're working on a Wii title or not, we could see a new title from them next year.

I have left off a few teams, most notably the Software Planning and Development Group. They have four teams responsible for WarioWare, 2D Metroid, puzzle titles, second party collaboration and system software (Wii Channels etc). I've left them off due to the amount of titles they work on and the random nature of their development.

It's important also to note the amount of outsourcing Nintendo are doing (note some teams are associated with Nintendo more than others, Game Freak for example);

2010
AQ Interactive: The Last Story
Artoon: Fling Smash
Camelot: Golden Sun: Dark Dawn
Cing: Last Window: The Secret of Cape West (Cing filed for Bankruptcy in March 2010)
Creatures Inc: Pokemon Ranger: Path of Light/Guardian Signs
Game Freak: Pokemon Black/White
Grezzo: Line Attack Heroes
Good-Feel, Inc: Looksley's Line Up
Good-Feel, Inc: Kirby's Epic Yarn
Mistwalker: The Last Story
Nd Cube: Wii Party
Noise: ArcoKnights
Project M: Metroid: Other M
Q-Games: 3D Space Tank/X-Scape
Shift: Ando Kensaku
Skip Ltd.: Art Style: Light Trax
Skip Ltd.: Art Style: Rotozoa
Skip Ltd.: Snowpack Park
Square Enix: Mario Sports Mix

2011 so far
Gambarion: Pandora's Tower
Grezzo: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
Genius Sonority: Battle & Get! Pokemon Typing DS
Monster Games: Pilotwings Resort
??? Nd Cube: Wii Play: Motion ???
Vitei Inc: Steel Diver

I think that's about it.. New Nintendo console announcement imminent?

Edit: Added the just announced Wii Play: Motion to EAD Kyoto Group 2 (Not confirmed they're working on this but it would make sense if they aren't outsourcing this game too)

The jump attack stab glitch (the one that makes stab attacks do the same damage as a jump attack)

that's not the one i was talking about.

i was talking about the Infinite Sword glitch. this is a glitch that makes your sword attack constantly without swinging it with the button and also prevents you from falling from a ledge (you can move towards it at full speed and you will never drop or jump while the glitch is active). it happens whe you interrupt a sword slash by reading a sign/picking up something.
this glitch also leads to the bomb hover glitch in the n64 version but, since the demo was just the start, that couldn't be tested.

this, this and this is what can be done with the infinite sword glitch.

What's a remake?

Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes.

A remake is when a game is built from the ground up with a new engine. This is what people have always wanted with FF 7. It's expensive.

A enhanced port is when they're using the existing engine and selectively improving some things here and there. It's cheap.

Thanks Nuclear Muffin and Carmello for the lists of what the Nintendo studios are working on.

Goes to show that the next Nintendo home console probably won't have much to show for a while. Still, that won't stop people (and analysts!) from predicting it will be shown this year. Can't wait for E3 disappointment 2011!

It's not that clear cut to me.. I mean it's possible the following teams are already working on next generation titles:

EAD Kyoto:

Group 1: It's possible they're already working on the next generation Mario Kart. It'll certainly be their next title, just depends on how close to completing Mario Kart 3DS they are.

Group 2: Their last game was Wii Sports Resort. Need I say more? They are either working on a Wii Series title along with Animal Crossing 3DS or on a next generation title.

Group 4: I'd imagine they're working on Pikmin 3 along with New Super Mario Bros. 3D but will Pikmin 3 be a Wii title? What if it's been cancelled or shelved? Pikmin 3 could be going to their next system or it could be on hold for a next gen title.

Group 5: Their last game was just released, Steel Diver, but they were working with another studio on that title. Since Wii Fit Plus launched, they have probably been looking towards next generation development as well and certainly will be full steam ahead on whatever their next project will be.

EAD Tokyo:

Group 2: Super Mario HD! They could very possibly be working on Mario for a next generation system, could even be a launch title.

Retro Studios? Their last title was was released Q4 2010, they should be working on a next generation title right now as well..

Of course some of these teams could also be working on Wii games, but apart from Pikmin 3 and a new IP or Wii Series title, it seems work is underway on next generation games.
