October is near, Plan on playing any scary games?

Not really 'scary' but I always try to play a Castlevania game in October. I recently got a nice CRT TV and some Genesis Model 1s so I was gonna do Castlevania Bloodlines...oh god it's so expensive.

Planning on finishing my horror game backlog:

- Amnesia: tdd
- Cry of Fear (HL mod, fucking terrifying)
- nightmare house 2 (another HL mod)
- dead space
- Stalker: COP
- Condemned 1

Cry of Fear is nightmare material. Only game with PT that had me stop playing in the middle of a session.

Corpse Party: Blood Drive comes out in October so yes! Can't wait to play my likely GOTY.

No replaying any horror games. Don't have the time since I'm focused on beating a few games this month. So just Blood Drive for me.

Until Dawn and SOMA. I've been waiting for October to play some horror stuff I haven't touched in a while like Alien:Isolation. Fatal frame too if it reviews well.

Definitely, OP!

I've been sitting on The Evil Within and haven't played past Chapter 3 yet. Going to dive back into that one this week!

Also planning on renting Until Dawn. May also finally finish Splatterhouse on PS3 as well as Lollipop Chainsaw. :)

I love Fall. Its probably my favorite season. Great time to play some games..

**Oh yeah, also going to start up Castlevania: Lament of Innocence again. Its one of my favorite Vania's. :)

Absolutely. It's an annual tradition.

Totally in for SOMA and Until Dawn for the PS4, and Fatal Frame 5 for the Wii U.

I also have Outlast and P.T. in my backlog still to play, so I might check those out as well if I get the chance.

Gonna grab REmake HD, and hopefully will find a deal on Until Dawn this month. Really wanna play that with the GF at the end of the month.

Wish I could play P.T. again :(

Got Soma that I'm keeping for that occasion, and might also get Until Dawn if I can find it at a good price.
Believe it or not, I also have a never played before PT on the system I might finally decide to go through :)

I'm planning to play Costume Quest, Dead Space, and Until Dawn for the month's horror games, with maybe REmake HD if I can find the time.

I have Alien Isolation on deck. I have had it for a year and started playing with the Oculus Rift. they still have not come out with a patch to make reading the screen easier without it being 2 inches from your face. So I guess I will play it 2d then.

Yeah, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5

Although not.

edit: Agh, I really need to read the whole first page before trying my lame jokes

Going to replay Silent Hill 2 and maybe 3 if time permits. Also want to buy Echo Night from a local game store and play through that.

I'm actually playing through Silent Hill 2 for the first time, a bit too early for Halloween hahaha

fucking piano jumpscare :(

Definitely, I'll certainly be playing some Resident Evil and Silent Hill games. And I hope to complete at least one new horror game I haven't finished before.

Fatal Frame Wii U seems like the perfect fit for me. Might play through Until Dawn again too although it was 2spooky4me first time round, in daylight, so maybe not.

Ive been replaying REmaster lately and after that I'll be playing Dead Space and probably replaying RE3 and 4 later on.

Not a scary game but I still haven't played Costume Quest 2 and I've got it sitting on my Steam account so I might give that a go.

Halo 5 comes out around then as well but that'll only be scary if the servers are like MCC.

Funny enough i can't handle scary games even though i am a huge, huge, huge horror fan. Maybe it's the interactive and immersion of the games that's too much.

Every year i tell myself that i am going to face the fears and play some horror games but i never do. This year i might try to force myself to at least play Until Dawn and try to ease my way into scary games since that game isn't really scary. I really, really want to play the Dead Space franchise.

Still need to finish Fran Bow, more psychological horror as a point and click game but very well done.

Gonna do another playthrough of Outlast. Recently I've been more susceptible to jump scares in games for some reason, might be from VR horror demos. Certainly makes playing through the former more intense.

REmake HD for me.

Not scary, but Grabbed by the Ghoulies also - seemed like a perfect fit for the season.

I always fire up Spelunky this time of year as well, for some reason.

Really want to play Until Dawn at some point. Could be a good Halloween game.

Technically I still need to finish Costume Quest 2.

Project Zero, White Night, Until Dawn, Resi Remake Remastered, Outlast, maybe Soma if it gets a Halloween price cut.

Bloody love horror and Halloween!

thinkin about it

I have barely played any horror games ever

been thinking of doing games in the order that Giant Bomb was going to do with Fear Gauntlet before that exploded

I'm thinking about taking my PS2 and projector outside to play Silent Hill 2 on our garage door.

What could possibly go wrong?
