I was going to click The turtle eating The mouse one but looking at the reaction, I AM going to stay away. Gaf is usually a tough crowd, só this shit must be hardcore.

The op video was uneasy enough for me.

if the op video caused something you then don't even think about watching the turtle one with the mouse, shit's gross

Video in the OP is lame. The gif have saved this thread. Especially that mouse one. Holy hell.

I dunno man.. I feel like I would have helped that bird.

Creatures from the ocean can go to hell, or in my belly.

I just sat open mouthed at that mouse one. jesus.

Was that Pelican one an accidental thing from a BBC news report? is there video of it - wondering what the presenter's reaction was.

Nah, they got footage from random people.

There's a bunch of videos on youtube. Definitely different incidents so it seems it's frequent. Not sure which one would be the same than the gif.

It seems like to me a bird should be able to rip the shit out of a pelican's throat if it got swallowed by one. Do they just suffocate or what?

well I raise you a turtle eating a mouse

not for the squeamish

Jesus fucking christ, especially the ending bit

Can I get a detailed explanation of what happening here? Don't want my day ruined, lol.

Spoiler'd for the weak willed EDIT: lol too late

In one of the gnarliest bits of nature I've ever seen a snapping turtle literally rips a live mouse in half and begins chomping on the hind bits. The upper half with intestines and viscera flapping about in the tide attempts futilely to still kick its front arms to the surface before receiving a final fatal chomp.

Fuck PETA, the animal kingdom is brutal

I'm sorry.......what the hell is happening in this picture? And I hope it isn't what I think it is...

Probably exactly what you think it is.

When the joey is about 6-7 months old it is ready to begin weaning from milk to gumleaves. To do this, the mother Koala passes on to the joey, the micro-organisms in her stomach that are necessary to make the digestion of gumleaves possible. She does this by producing a substance called ‘pap’ which is a specialised form of faeces (or koala poo). Unlike normal hard, dry Koala pellets, ‘pap’ is soft and runny in consistency.
