Cause Decima is Guerilla's engine and Sony wouldnt be ok with it being used on Xbox?Had no idea this was supposed to be a horror game. That's my favourite genre so I'm curious now. Why unreal though if they already have a great engine…. But definitely looks like a level above RE9 if that teaser is any indication.
Yeah that makes sense. Forgot this was an Xbox project. And yeah it looks like pretty insane.Cause Decima is Guerilla's engine and Sony wouldnt be ok with it being used on Xbox?
UE 5 is crazy realistic tho, as shown in the trailer. The game will probably have a small scope like PT, so optimization shouldnt be a problem.
Looks absolutely incredible. Kojima crew can maoe good visuals, damn.

It's possible:It looks like there will be different episodes with different characters? . I wonder if the collaboration with different Hollywood directors has something to do with that aspect, and if each one would collaborate on a particular episode?
Aside from all that, it looks fantastic.
Looks awesome. Would this now come out for PlayStation as well?
It's free marketing attached to a name, thay are good and their craft as a screen actors (especially important if you capture faces in high definition) and they are not even that expensive in the overall AAA budget, where the large bulk of spending is usually tech and assets. Both DS1 and DS2 was a joy to watch because we saw what truly capable screen actors are bringing to the table of motion capture and facial capture. That being said, I will never understand Kojima's obsession with using famous actors for his game. It's weird and unnecessary in my opinion
The good thing about cloud technology is that it is mostly client device agnostic, so in theory there are not many barriers to them putting it elsewhere. I imagine the hook for MS is that it will be episodic and maybe timed exclusive to them, also on Gamepass day 1 which may help drive subs.Great trailer but few things to note: again no date or even solid window, so it's basically late 2026 or 2027.
Also no mention of platforms or 'Xbox Only' badge but For All Players And Screamers. I bet Kojima retooled the game from MS cloud only to episodic horror for PS5/Xbox/PC at one point.
And yeah, seems to me like a smaller episodic game in-betweeen DS2 and Physnt.
Was announced with Jordan Peele! He was announced as a co-writer, I believe.Had no idea this was supposed to be a horror game. That's my favourite genre so I'm curious now. More likely because it is an MS funded game, and Kojima Productions would have to pay extra to license Decima for it. This deal was made and announced before Microsoft decided to go semi-multiplatform, so that was likely not a consideration when choosing an engine. It's probably a matter of having full multi-plat support from day 1.
Wait a sec, is this really in-game footage?
This is a room-scale game with heavy character focus, akin of Hellblade 2. I don't know why you act surprised (plus you can clearly see ingame moments on a bigger screen)Looks so good that I was wandering if this is a game footage.
