Offical Fantasy Football thread - Stafford is indeed fat

I just need to know if Brady has ever had over a 3 td game in snow. I know that wind is the main concern here, but whoever I start will determine this match up since I didn't get much out Murray or McCoy

Well, I screwed up. I would have done better to play Foles, who missed half the game.

What a hack. Too bad Seattle can't drop him and pay $10 for a wiffle-ball stand for the RB to grab from.
 
I'm still behind by 3 points despite my opponent have 4 players not playing. I need Donnell to score 3 points to win but with my luck he'll score -3. Fuck the Chargers.

Final game of the season, and though I barely missed the Playoffs I wanted to go out with a bang.

Then Peyton Manning forgot how to throw a football and DT only got me 3 points...
 
My dreams were dashed long ago in this league =(, terrible season for the most part.

On the edge of my seat barely hanging on to a lead that would get me in the playoffs in the Straggler league.
 
So fitting I lose to Kas after starting the season so well and then bombing the last month. Don't really care not making the playoffs since I just lost 3 WR's and a RB to injuries.

Grats to the folks who made the playoffs. Despite my abysmal season, it was a fun first foray into playing fantasy football. I'm having better luck in Stragglers, but I do wonder if I'll play fantasy football next season, tended to drive me crazy mostly :p

Did make the playoffs in Stragglers, so that's been pretty cool!

Congrats, buddy! I just realized our league doesn't have a bye, just two rounds. You're going down, Yankeehater! Good luck in your other league, Shane! Although you said it was stressful, I hope you still over all had fun with Fantasy. I still think it's a great gateway into getting more into Football as you learn and remember far more players than you would otherwise and have invested interest in nearly every game each week.

I not only made the playoffs in all four leagues, but earned a bye in the three that allow it (including both money leagues). It would be pretty sweet if I win 3 or all 4 leagues this year!
 
Yeah, it's been fun in general, but after years of casually enjoying Football, it's taken one season of Fantasy Football to really have changed how I watched football this season, and I'm still not sure if I feel it was a good thing or bad thing. Nice to have some incentive and input, but it drove me plenty more crazy than I ever wanted as well. Getting upset when my players don't get the TDs, or cheering for a whole bunch of crazy scenarios had caused a few weeks of insanity. lol

But yeah, I'll enjoy the playoffs in Stragglers, and see how it all goes. I'm sure come next season I'll be itching to get back into it just like anyone.

It can be frustrating but the emotional factor is what makes it fun. If it didn't evoke emotion and you just casually sat there watching numbers change, shit would be boring.

I'm assuming you're talking about another league? Or is not everyone in ours Gaffers? There are a team or two that I think I never figured out who they were haha All I'm going to say to you Yankee is that you face Peyton Manning, Shady McCoy, Julius Thomas, and Antonio Brown. Did I mention Odell Beckham too? This team is going all the way! Pey Pey got that 2 point game out of his system last week and now it's just winning the rest of the way! Choo Choo!
 
My wife is the seaward. She has a GAF account but doesn't really post. Noodle arm Manning ain't doing nothing and buttfumble is going to throw for 400 against the Cowboys so no points for Shady

Oh, congrats to her then! She's the lucky benefactor of Peyton scoring two points against her but you won't be so lucky this week! ;p Buttfumble will fumble so often they'll forsake giving him the ball and Shady will have to do all the work. Just kidding! I really hope you're right about buttfumble because in my most important league, I've been having to use Maclin AND Mathews together...normally fantasy suicide but it's PPR so it's been working out (I had my bye when they played the Chickens, phew). Fortunately, that team is a true juggernaut with Forte and Murray giving me 50-60 points Per week alone :D

How in the world did you get both Forte and Murray? They were both 1st round picks in most leagues.

Murray often falls to the very beginning of the second round in my experience with a few exceptions. Him being so injury prone has always hurt his draft stock. This is the first time he's stayed healthy so you can bet he's going to be a top 3 pick next year! It's a PPR league so the two have been complete monsters. I got Brady in the sixth like I did in our league and after starting horribly, has been great most of the season as you can imagine. I fucked up on my first two receivers but lucked out with Maclin having an even better year than expected and got Mathews off the wire when butt fumble took over. I also managed to get Ingram off the wire a little before he returned from the broken hand so Forte, Murray, Ingram has been an awesome three headed dragon. Rams D has been money too down the stretch in every league I could grab them in. That team is the most confident I've ever been in going all the way since I've played FF.
 
Screaming my fucking head off during this SNF game. =/ Hate when fantasy football does this to me.

Already in a shit mood, and now I'm just even more pissed off =/ Need monster games from Graham and Stills tomorrow.

I hate FF so fucking much. I heard on the radio this week that the Bengals were no longer going with RB by commitee. I had both Hill and Bernard starting for me the last few weeks. I checked on sunday and NFL.com had Bernard projected at 14 points and Hill projected at 4 points, so I assumed that Bernard had been named the starter and I benched Hill. If I had left Hill in my lineup I would have won my game easily. My wife also got jobbed. She had a lead against Rando's team and the Saints had the ball with 2 minutes left. If the Saints had just taken a knee she would have won, instead they score and Cutler gets the ball back and drives down the field for a TD. Just such a ridiculous way to lose.
 
I've made it to the Superbowl in my league basically by getting lucky all year. I'm in a 10 man league, and 5 teams have much higher point totals than me. I've just had incredibly lucky matchups all year long.

Also, I spent most of the season in the top 2, only to be knocked to 3rd just before the playoffs. Had I gotten that first week bye, I would have played against a team this week that would have beaten me for sure.

=( Yeah, I was hoping for miracles on monday night, only really have myself to blame. Why I ever thought to put faith into Sanchez will taunt me all offseason.

I guess I'm thankful I can watch the last two weeks of the season as I've done in previous years and just enjoy the football.

BOOM! Told you you were going down, Yankee! GG, and yeah I wondered how you went about your RB decision. I was mad because I was going to play Cards D but forgot to swap it for this league and also forgot to do my pick'em league before the TNF game. I would have been pissed if I lost by the point differential between AZ and STL D. I think it was an 8 point difference which easily covers the difference in spread for many fantasy games.

In my main league, I was wrestling between playing Jordan Mathews and Kenny Stills all week and finally just left Mathews in...whoops! Thankfully I still won by six, phew. Superbowl bound in both leagues now with my other two teams coming off the bye to play their Divisional round. Hopefully these two make it to the big dance as well.

Alright Rando, we ended the season with the same record but only one of us walk away with a trophy, let's do this!
 
We have the first champion of the SiIF league, the trophy is mine! I also won the championship in my main league :D GG Rando, nice to get revenge and that's what you get for beating up my team in real life ;_;

Man, Julius Thomas really went down the tubes the past several weeks, thank god for Beckham Jr.!
