Well, on the plus side. Just like Shaq when he entered the NBA, Bynum has won at every level except college and professional. Hopefully he can become a 20/10 guy in 2 years. I remember when Jermaine Oneal came into the league I thought he was always going to be worthless and he exploded as soon as he was traded and actually got to play (nice move btw Portland). They say he has good hands so he should be able to score, but his tubbyness is going to prevent him from rebounding or playing defense (sounds like the current Shaq).

The only way this kid will turn into anything decent is if Kobe beats him into becoming a decent player. Jordan did this with a lot of success with Pippen, Kerr, Cartwright, etc. Kobe will have to give the tub a few years of leniency though as the high schoolers can crack under that kind of barrage the first few years, as seen with Kwame. But once he hits 20, Kobe needs to go Bill Cartwright on his ass.
