HEY LOOK

It's a close game and Torre pulls half the lineup again! Man, I'm glad Damon and Phelps are out and Mint-K and Melky are in!!!

When is someone gonna do something in the organization about this style of management? The lineup is not a toy.

Hey I think I actually remember Mike Myers. Wasn't he pitching in the minor leagues last season? I think he was on the Jacksonville Suns.

Jeez, Willie. Why not walk the guy so Wagner faces the scrubby LOLorado bench? Instead Wagner pitches behind in the count... Now Mets have to be clutch here.

The good news for the Yankees is that Melky and Mint-K are 2 of their next 3 batters in the final inning!

They were pinch runners!!!! That helped us score more runs!! Not hitting by good hitters! Small ball! Eeeking out runs!!!

FIRE TORRE.

Fuentes and Krod both blow saves today. wtf. My fantasy pitching is terrible. At least I got another zillion HRs today.

Intentional walk to Langerhans :lol

He reads GAF, saw your complaint, and is now raising his OPS! He FORCED the pitcher TELEKINETICALLY to walk him. That's skill.

The Yankees have a lot wrong with them right now. They went 11-19 to start 2004, but this season is ridiculous with the injuries and the starting pitching. The problem is that the bullpen is completely burned out and most likely will not be able to recover.

Terrible team construction. Terrible management.

Braves raped the Fish there in the 9th. Nice to see we finally had another big inning after they'd been trying to give us one all night.

Genius move to walk the struggling Langerhans. That worked out real well for them.

Damn Schoewy is dealing! One Lastings Milledge-like bomb and Shea is rocking. Does this remind you of the SF game when Wagner allowed the tying HR to Bonds but the Mets won in 12?

Gametime versus the hated ones. Dodgers/Giants. Game 4 of 18 in the season series, Dodgers enter leading 3-0 after a week one clean sweep of the Giants in San Francisco. Let's go Dodgers!

Our bullpen was rock solid after Redman's retardation.

The holes in left and the end of the rotation are getting pretty brutal. Obviously Redman cannot be on the final roster, and Langerhans shouldn't have a role beyond defensive specialist. Hopefully there will be a few guys who prove ready for the big times by mid summer, or JS pulls some more magic. If those gaps get plugged, this is going to be an incredibly, incredibly good team.

The problem is that I think we'll give Redman until June to turn things around, and that's too long IMO. Also, Langerhans should just be sent down so Bobby isn't tempted to use him. Just start Diaz.

Another option to start is Villareal. He did a good job last year spot starting.

Everytime I look at a Yankee box score this past week .. Vizcaino shits the bed. What a bad week for that guy. Torre keeps running him out there in tight situations, tho. :lol

How many chances are the Mets gonna have to not win? Ugh... at least Alou hit it hard.
Seriously, we need to come through here.

Joe Smith getting 2 outs on 3 pitches was totally money, though.

Hopefully the offense is back after today. April is almost over so I guess Wells and Thomas have decided to start hitting again. Halladay is a beast but that is not a surprise, what is a surprise though is the 10 Ks.

Wow... I can't believe the Dodgers got out of that one. 2 run deficit isn't that bad, especially with Matt Morris on the hill. Just gotta keep those 6 pitch innings to a minimum.
