I can't read a word of Korean but I'm guessing that is Bryan Cashman desperately looking for a starter?

I haven't had my Korean friend translate it yet but that seems to be the gist of it.

they got the wrong NY team... The mets got the Korean boss on the mound tonight!

Great. Park was rolling along and allows a hit to the pitcher. Two walks and a seeing-eye hit later it's 2-0 Marlfish. I need to watch this game...

EDIT: 3-0.

Terrible inning. Bloops, walks and bad defense cost us 5 ****ing runs, when we were 1 strike away from finishing the inning.

This guy was pissed at Randolph for not making the team? Nice job of proving him wrong there... jeez.

EDIT: ANOTHER HOMER? Where's the button that releases a player after the game?

Wickman DL

Paranto recalled

Closer by committee
Honestly, I think we'll be alright with Soriano closing. I know they say committee, but I think he'll get the most opportunities and really distinguish himself as the best option. Hell, I bet when Wickman comes back he might not even get slotted back into the closer's spot right away or at all.

Remember how everyone was saying your pitching was overperforming? Consider this the beginning of the sea change that will correct things!

One poor emergency relief start and you start flipping? Mets had Jeremi Gonzalez and Jose Lima (bap bap bap) fail miserably last year and they were fine. Add this to all your April first-place insanity and I see just how desperate and sad you are. It's pathetic really.

Oh btw, SUPERRTRRRRAAAANNNN RETURNS!

When I first get to the stadium, I'm actually pretty laid back. I like to take it easy, but as the game gets closer I start to get more and more focused. I get really locked in about 30 minutes before the game. I grab a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a couple of Red Bulls and I'm ready to rock. That's a big part of my routine. I actually stole the peanut butter and jelly thing from Darin Erstad. He used to have two of them before every game. I can't do two of those, just one. The Red Bulls, that's all me. After the sandwiches and Red Bulls I get stretched out by the trainers, take a couple of advils and I'm ready go.

Halladay is a beast. So Chacin is going on the DL, I wonder who will replace him McGowan, Towers, Taubenheim or Janssen. Will be interesting to see what we do.

I get home and the score is 9-6? God, Park sucks.
It was horrible. Park retired the first 8 batters, when allowed a single TO THE PITCHER. Everything went to Hell after that but the Mets are fighting back.

Oh crap Henry Owens not Jorge Juilo. :-C

1 error for each squad, and the Mets are fighting back. Since Juilo's the closer they have a shot!!

Julio has been gone for a few weeks, hopefully he won't come back. Too bad for the Mets. The game was pretty sloppy if you ask me, good thing we came out with a win.

Paranto is back, Wick no longer closing, Huddy dominates, Jones&Jones homer, Mets have enlisted someone as worthless as Redman, and the Braves are back in first.

Today was a good day.

edit - should add....Halladay was just sick out there. Wow.

Halladay is just an absolute amazing player. Cy Young this year baby.

His 10 inning complete game was one of the most beautiful things that Ive seen in baseball in a long time. O, I dream of the days when pitchers werent treated like nancy boys.

De nada, Doyers!

Code:
IP H R ER BB K HR Season ERA
6.0 10 3 3 1 4 0 6.91

3 Runs?!?! That's all the Angels could get from OdaLOLis, Wow.

Nice Job Wolf you asshat, It's not like Dodgers needed a good outing or anything. Nice to see Rudy Seanez remembered who he was and returned to form. Not sure what Little was thinking bringing in Bombko, Seanez had only pitched 1 inning. Was he afraid of burning out Seanez? :lol Beteshit with another great day at the plate. :sigh

The Pirates are .500 for the month of April for the first time since 2002...

Maybe if our offense would start doing something and our bullpen would stop blowing leads, we could be above .500 for the month of May. Adam LaRoche and his .133 AVG is killing us.

At least we aren't out of the race already like we usually are.

LaRoche will come around. He might not be as good as he was last year but he can't stay this crappy all year long.

And yeah, you guys would be right in it if the Brewers weren't finally living up to their potential.

Yeah enjoy it while you can it won't last too long. Park is not going to stay in the rotation either.

Alou may be going on the DL, what a surprise. He's a good hitter, but always manages to get hurt. Sounds like Gomez might be called up.

The Braves have filed a missing persons report on Willy Aybar who they haven't been able to contact for a week. His brother Erick and mother can't get in touch with him either. This is after he drove up to Boston to be with his brother there for drug and alcohol problems

Yeesh. I hope he's ok.

Man, looking back on April it's been a great one for the Indians. Even without Cliff Lee and a few of the stars having mediocre starts, we are 14-8 and in first place. Our best April since 1999. We have won every series except for the Yankees (where they swept us), which is a good sign of a solid team .. not a streaky one.

Cliff Lee comes back this week and unfortunately we are putting Carmona back into AAA. He has been outstanding and I would like to see him in the rotation. But with Westbrook being the weak link, there is no way they would demote him to middle relief due to his new contract.

But if Carmona keeps it up, I could see us getting rid of CC Sabathia or Cliff Lee because there is no way we will be able to afford their next contracts. At current rates, CC is in line to make 16-22 mil per year.

Time for another offensive power house collision as the Seattle Mariners take on the Chicago White Sox! Who will get the first base hit? Will there be any extra base hits? Will the White Sox out grit and small ball the Mariners? Stay tuned!

Erstad's intangibles are the game breaker.

Breaking news: Soriano finally homers.

Breaking WTF: Sabathia gives up 3 homers to the Blue Jays in the first inning?

The game probably is going to be cancelled so the homers won't count. Damn it I knew before the game the game probably would be cancelled but when Rios hit one I was hoping it would somehow make it to the 6th.

Pelfrey vs. Nolasco --- Hmm, Pelfrey's been shelled recently and the Mets have annihilated Nolasco in his career. Let's play...

WHICH YOUNG PITCHER IS GOING TO LAST LONGER?

Pelfrey allows 3 runs in the first, but Nolasco has allowed two hits to the first two hitters. Stay tuned!
