that quote had more to do with how those mets were a bunch of jerks and such.... but this team is giving it a run for the money i'll admit.
 
If Igawa has got himself under control I don't know why they don't put him in the bullpen. His start against Boston showed that he can throw he just needs to get himself under control.

And god damn about Menciwietz or however you spell his name. Giambi is on the DL too. That means Josh Phelps will be playing first for the next two weeks. At least last night looked like a legit loss. Not another one of the who-cares losses that we've seen from teh Yankees this season. I just hope they can keep their fire and turn this thing around.

I swear BBT follows basically the same script every night:

First 15 minutes- talk about red sox and yankees (make this first 20 minutes if they're actually playing each other)
Next 5 minutes- Kruk makes an ass out of himself
Next 5 minutes- Roger Clemens update
Next 5 minutes- Steve Phillips makes an idiot out of himself
Next 5 minutes- Ozzie Guillen's insane-o corner update of the day
Next 5 minutes- a lame segment that the producers hope will catch on
Next 10 minutes(5 if the yanks and sawx are playing each other)- recap what those other 28 teams did, or something
Last 10 minutes- web gems & touch em all

The show has been unwatchable since Kruk and Phillips came on.

Where'd you hear this btw? God damnit, the jays are snake bitten this year. Luckily we have a decent backup in Stairs.. and maybe this means Lind won't be on the bench wasting his talent.

FAN590 Blue Jay post game show.

Zaun is back soon, so I guess Phillips/Stairs will take over 1st and Stairs will play a little LF on days when Lind needs a rest.

Didn't look like he strained anything but Furcal noticed something instantly. Saito wanted to stay but they convinced him to come out. Hopefully nothing serious, PLZ!

Missed the play that got Little tossed but it looked like he was out at the plate easily. Sucks that Kent continues to struggle, Maybe he should be dropped in the order in favor of someone else. Good to see Abreu continue his hot streak though. =)

Kent is hitting the first pitch he see and he does not even work the count at all. Hopefully someone would point it out for him. Furcal is also struggling too of lates.
 
The Cards picked up Kelly Stinnett from the Dodgers hahahahhahaahaha



edit: Apparantly Homer Bailey is being called up to start Saturday. Awesome.
