Oh well at least we still have the lead. Do we dare use Janssen again after he has pitched 2 games in a row. This is probably going to be a lose-lose situation for Gibbons.
Mr. Orange County can handle it!!!

Striking out with 1 out and a dude on 3rd.. NOT COOL Russ. :\ Then Gonzo fouls out to ending the inning.. balls. Nice to see Juan doing his job and stealing 2nd and 3rd though.

Did Towers just win a game, and pitch decently too? Have we just one 2 straight Towers starts and lost 2 straight Marcum starts. What kind of bizzaro world is this?

Great, the Mets game got rained out . . . and I wanted to finishing watching Glavine get 297 watch???

Suck it down Little BooBoo! How dare you run on Pierre/Furcal combo biatch!

Gonzo BYRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRNED! :lol

:cry

And of course Loney comes up and hits a single right after Dumzo gets gunned down at 2nd.

Holy ****! PLEASE ****ING TAKE NOMAS OUT! HE IS 0 FOR THE SEASON!

On the same day Shea Hillenbrand was quoted in published comments saying he felt the Angels had "pushed me aside, put me on a back-burner," they did exactly that.

After Wednesday’s game, the Angels announced that Hillenbrand would be designated for assignment. The move will officially be made Friday but Hillenbrand was told that he would not be accompanying the team when it leaves for Baltimore to start a nine-game, 10-day road trip this morning.

:lol :lol :lol

So what is this, the 3rd team Hillenbrand has pissed off.

Enough is Enough, Nomar is officially broken. He's no help anywhere they put him in the lineup. He is swinging like a retard at the plate and has his head down after he fails every time.

=\...

****.. another K for Russell with a man in scoring position. Don't expect Kent will knock him in either. Sigh, this blows.

They could at least be tied had anyone been able to get a ****ing decent bunt down. 1-0 hurts so much, Even worse this hasn't been Gump's fault because he actually has tried to move the runners over.

God dammit, I was hoping Lowe could get out of the inning without giving up a run. Sigh. Shows the importance of a sacrifice.. something the Dodgers have never heard of.

1st and 2nd with no outs. Nomar is going deep and avenging himself. BOOK IT!

....or not. Sigh. How do you go 0-5 in two games and now be 0-4? Absolute murder. Time for the Killer Tomato to come through in the clutch.

After Nomar came up to bat I knew the inning would end up with 0 runs scored. Nomar is now 0-14 in the ****ing series!!!!

The next time I hear someone talk about Nomar's RISP average, I will ****ing lose it and kill someone.

Dodger pitchers are 3 for 7 at the plate. Pierre, Kent, and Nomore are 3 for 37 at the plate.

Has to be the worst Dodger game all season other than that one where Brox melted down and the other team scored like 5 or 6 runs in the bottom of the 9th to win.

Great work by Seanez to get out of that jam. Come on dudes.. show some ****ing heart and get at least a single run here. Sigh, so much for that. 3 K's for Russell tonight when he came in with 94 in a 194 career games. What a horrible night.

WHAT THE **** IS THIS SHIT ON MY TELEVISION! 9 Hits and 5 walks couldn't get 1 Damn run for Lowe. PUTA MADRE! DFA Nomar, Kent and Pierre! Betemit at 3rd, Kemp in CF and Abreu at 2nd!

Meier said:
Can you believe that Kemp didn't make it in in some form or another? How do you not PH with him at some point? Insanity..

How about not getting last nights hero Abreu a freaking at bat? JESUCRISTO!

WTF Dodgers shutout?

6th Shutout of the season for the Dodgers, Lowe has been the loser in 3 of those. Giving up only 4 earned runs in the 3 shutouts. Tommorow is going to be a worse day with Wolf on the mound against Randy Johnson. Wolf has blown chunks in his last 4-5 starts. I fear for what will happen this weekend with the series against the Padres, I'm thinking another sweep is in order.

9 Hits + 6 Walks = 0 Runs?

Yeah it pretty sad to watch the Dodgers suck when RISP. D. Lowe deserve better this shit. I think at least the Dodgers can win one game from the Pads... Hopefully

Hillenbrand and Chulk for Accardo is looking mighty sweet these days lol

And the Jays are 9 back of the BoSox now :o

And 6 out of the wildcard....

Glad to see the Jays turning it up

Hey hey three wins in a row for the White Sox, and all signs point to Buehrle coming back. First good day in baseball in about 40 days!

"I think everyone knows where my heart's at ... and how bad I want to stay here," Buehrle said Wednesday after beating the Tampa Bay Devil Rays 5-3. "I want to stay here and do everything I can to stay here."

You know, I understand that the Yankees have always been a bigger deal in NY than the Mets, but I get pretty tired of being stuffed into a corner or a banner no matter what the either team does.

Clemens loses? Full front page. Glavine gets win number 297 with a 1-hit complete
shortened
game shutout? Tiny Banner.

Well, in fairness Tommy is a traitor. Clemens is just a mercenary.

:lol Swept by the Royals and gave them their first shutout of the season.

:lol Jeff Weaver being a top 5 player on a team's payroll.

Eh, it was a 1 year $8 million dollar flier. The money wasn't being better spent else where.

He won't be back next season so no biggie. The bigger pay roll travesties are Jose Vidro, Miguel Batista and Horacio Ramirez. We have Vidro for 2 more years! He shouldn't even be starting tomorrow and he'll be here 2 more years!

Gotta love this page where everyone finally wakes up and realizes Nomar is done. Glad it only took two days for this to happen.

I can't believe the road series tomorrow against the Royals is so important, we can got 10(!) games over .500 and catch up even more to Anaheim.

BTW, Seattle was the first team to sweep Boston this year. And we did it with Dream Weaver, Fear Bend and a hurting Felix. Suck on that American League!

Now if only we hadn't shat the bed against the NL Central, sigh. Also can someone in the AL Central start sucking besides the White Sox? Wild Card plz.

Last thing, Triumph you're off my Christmas card list. Big meanie head.

Not in the mid to late 80s.

The Indians STEAL another game from Oakland. The A's bullpen (due to injuries) rivals the White Sox and the Yankees in ineptness.

Just need Texas to get past Kenny Rogers and get into that Tiger bullpen.

Congrats to the Big Hurt.

Oh, and as for that debate that happened here a few weeks ago about the AL being better than the NL...
This year's version of Baseball Between the Numbers has an added section about exactly that, and it shows not only that yes, the AL is currently superior, but why. They break down stuff like ages of the respective leagues, rookie contributions in leagues, league turnover, etc.

It's a really interesting read that shows exactly why the AL is currently better.
