Regardless... that was one freakin' tense game. I can't remember the last reg. season game this kind of tension existed. Great game. Awesome pitching duel too.

And... damn Mariners are just freaking scary.

I'm glad Weaver has decided to finally step it up and become a pitcher. The guy scares me, but not as much as he did earlier in the year.

Beltre is starting his second half hitting fest a little early this year, and if we can somehow get Sexson to start hitting... wow.

No kidding. I've never seen a ball (excluding that Richie Sexson ball off the flag pole) hit out in dead center. Howard hit on there the other day and he he said as he rounded first, "WHAT THE ****??"

It was funny. That catch was not.

Crisp was playing too shallow in CF though. I know Sheff was on 2nd but you can't do that in Comerica....especially when you have 2 outs...

Beltran's catch was pretty much a reenactment of the one Edmonds had years back, IIRC. Awesomeness.

As if it wasn't bad enough we're already stuck with Mike "Automatic Loss" Pelfrey in our rotation, now we have to deal with this crap, too. Way to be an effectiveless piece of shit, Williams.
 
Can't we just pull Wlliams now? I know we had a long game last night, but it's the last game before the break. Just let the relievers take over. Anything's better than this.
