Season is done... Down to Penny and ?????????? :lol Bad luck Doyers this year, pack it up and wait till next year.

Seeing as i know the Brewers will lose this game......Go St.louis, please keep the evil north siders at bay.

Will anyone from St,louis be willing to take back Jeff Suckpan? Please.

I know the White Sox bullpen sucks but at what point do you yank Rogers? Then again, the Tigers bullpen ain't too hot either :lol

I can't believe Leyland left him in there to face Thome and Konerko with a guy on base.

Well, he got the job done at least... ya know, not counting the 7 runs before that.

Damn you to hell Ned Yost!!! Why on earth would you let Mench attempt to steal home?

And right on cue the Cubs start slaughtering the Cardinals.

ZOMG a Cardinals sweep would rule my face. I'll be in Cincinnati this weekend, so I get to go watch the Cubs get closer to the NL Central lead! Or shoot, maybe even overtake it since I'm going Saturday! I am so effing hyped that it's not even funny. :D :D

Blowe 0wned! 1-0 loss...
ARGH! Losing 2 of 3 to the Asstros is not acceptable for the Doyers. PATHETIC!

Blowberto is in, Littlemind is waving the white flag.

Congrats to Tommy Glavine on career win No. 299. Standing on the doorstep of history.

While the Royals clearly are in a position to trade a handful of players – Dotel, Reggie Sanders, Mark Grudzielanek, others – they also are showing signs of progress (the bullpen, the road record, the good young position players) and management wouldn't mind letting them win some games over the next couple months. Dotel, in particular, would be a big part of that.
I have to agree with this. If the Royals are ever going to get out of the basement, they can't keep being the league's Swap Shop by trading away their breakout players every year. They're already playing respectably at this point, imagine if they grew themselves for a few years. They could be competitive again by the end of the decade.

They also have to factor in whether or not these players want to stay in Kansas City for anything less than a hefty ransom.

Two consecutive AWESOME games between the Red Sox/Indians. Feels like October baseball already ...

It's such a shame then, because one of those teams won't be playing in October.

That shot by Arod was sick. Down and outside, he doesn't get it on the good part of the bat, and it still goes 400 feet.

Yah, that's a lazy-fly or pop-out for 99% of the MLB :lol

Dodgers bad news keeps piling on...

KUO probably Done.
Ordinarily, that would be considered a minor clean-up. But nothing is minor in the elbow of Kuo, which has undergone two Tommy John reconstructions, a scar tissue clean-up and now this, over the last seven years. He's likely out for the year and the Dodgers might even find themselves having to talk Kuo out of retiring. Kuo has hinted to teammates that would be a consideration if he needed another operation.

"If anyone knows what to do in a rehab assignment, it's him," Little said. "It's been unfortunate for the kid. We feel he's got a lot of talent."
