Sucks about Easley though,I wonder if Minaya goes out and makes a deal if he is done for the year. Work that voodoo Omar. Maybe its not earth shattering but still its a pretty good bench/utility player thats gone. Now more than ever the trade for Luis Castillo looms pretty fucking large. Glad we got the guy. And atleast Endy Chavez is now rehabbing and playing in the minors,sooner or later he'll be back to solidify the bench.

Ah, Schilling gets hammered, but Big Papi allows him to walk away with his first win in a long time. Definitely enjoying that fact! Glad the Sox padded it with a few more runs in the 8th, as I'm beginning to fear the 9th more and more often since Gagne joined.

Well, the 21 yr old kid got his first HR (although power isn't his forte) tonight and looks to be very slick in the field. This after tearing up AA and continuing that in AAA.
Garko has been our second most reliable hitter since he was called up (even moreso than Hafner or Sizemore). Improves everyday at first base.
Pretty incredible trade that worked out well for us.
