Wow what a fast pace game! Thanks to bumko ineptitude to get one stinkin out and the crappy dodgers offense, they lost by one effing run.

Tivo doesn't lie. That ****ing ump blew 3 critical calls tonight, then has the nerve to yell at Willie,"get out of my face." before throwing him out of the game.

Nice try but the baseball gods stepped in tonight and justice was served.

We need to destroy the Nats tomorrow before the umps try to ruin another close game.
I realize we should be winning these games easily, but when the team ain't hitting, bad umpiring makes the shit really hit the fan. And hopefully Wright is coming out of his funk. That 2 r.b.i. hit was sweet. You heard more Mets fans cheering in that park than you did Nats fans booing.:lol

Do not adjust your monitors.

You have entered the Arte Zone...

Boy. It feels GREAT to win a road game. Hopefuly we can ya know... win more than one game this time though?

6 ER in .1 IP from WTE? :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol
18+ ERA? :lol :lol :lol :lol

... I guess we wont see that fabled Weaver v Weaver matchup then.

[e] Yea yea! Definitely picked up GMJ after his first week of amazingness.

One bad Bombko inning dooms the Dodgers, Still a great start despite the loss which is encouraging. =\ Damn offense! Great to see Tsao continue to pitch well out of the bullpen. :O

Jesus, I cannot believe this hasn't been updated...

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Josh Hancock, a key member of the bullpen that helped the St. Louis Cardinals win the World Series last season, was killed in a car crash early Sunday.

The Cardinals said they were told of the 29-year-old reliever's death by the St. Louis Police Department. The team's home game against the Chicago Cubs on Sunday night was postponed.

The team said the accident happened in St. Louis, but no other details were disclosed. The Cardinals and police are expected to make a statement this afternoon at Busch Stadium.

Hancock has pitched for four major league clubs. He went 3-3 in 62 regular-season appearances for the Cardinals last season and pitched in three postseason games. He was 0-1 with a 3.55 ERA in eight games this season.

Hancock joined the Cardinals before the 2006 season. He has pitched for Boston, Philadelphia and Cincinnati.

God, my symphathies go out to his family and the organization.

whoa...when DK died, weren't the Cards playing a series against the Cubs?

crazy.

RIP

:(

One of the few Cardinals I didn't want to be stabbed by a pitchfork.

...probably because I didn't really know him much...

:(

Since DK was brought up, was there ever a definitive cause of death?

Heilman is ****ing worthless now.
He's had elbow tendinitis. I hope that's the cause.

BTW John Maine's outing today and current ERA:
Code:
IP H R	ER	BB	SO	HR	PC-ST	ERA
J Maine	7.0	3 0	0	3	8	0	106-66	[B]1.35[/B]
Thank you Baltimore!!!

John Maine and Jorge Julio for Chris and Anna, its been a steal so far.
This offense better start clicking though, were not going to be playing last place teams all year. That said though, the Nats definitely bring it every night. Great D and their pitching has been pretty solid. They've got to be the best last place team out there, well not counting the Yankees.:lol
