Shawn Green has a broken bone in his foot but theyre saying its not too serious. He fell pretty badly when getting out of the way of that pitch tonight,betcha that brought this on:/
Carlos Gomez will play everyday till Alou comes off the DL next Tuesday. So were gonna see more from this kid which should be fun to see. Man I'm glad we signed Alou though,just as long as he and Green can supply timely hits for us till Delgado gets his stuff together anyways.
Also-word is that Pedro's rehab is going great. He's is claiming his fast balls has returned to mid 90's form...if that holds up then holy shit. He'll never be Pedro from the 90's but still,having a better fastball to go with his off speed stuff he now throws can be deadly.@@
With Mota returning at the end of the month.El Duque now back and pitching a gem tonight,were looking ok. It'd be sweet if we get Duaner Sanchez back at the end of this season too.

Funny thing, we're actually 2 games over where we were at this point last year.

Well we've got some good speed on the bench,Endy Chavez and Carlos Gomez can cover the outfield like speedburners and can steal when needed. Green is too up and down with his on again-off again style of play,so yeah the bench should help us big time the next few days. Plus I wanna see Gomez play more anyways,especially since the buzz is this kid is faster than Reyes.
