Even with their subpar seasons so far, give me Dye/Thome/Konerko or Ortiz/Manny/Drew(or Youk depending on his spot in the lineup) or Beltran/Delgado/Wright or Sheff/Maggs/Guillen.

I really am not bitter, but the Twins do not have a great hitting line-up......not that they need one to be successful.

When I first heard it described I did think it was funny. But after seeing the clip it really is different than faking a throw at second or yelling when someone is shooting a free-throw. If you can't trust someone calling for a ball it will lead to injuries. It should be frowned upon so it doesn't happen again in the majors, but you really want to discourage that in younger kids.

you cannot run through a fielder on the basepath if he is attempting to field a batted ball on the basepath. You'd get called out on offensive interference. Any intentional hinderance by the runner on the fielder is technically not allowed. Double play break ups are allowed because the ball is no longer a batted ball, and the player has the right to slide into the base. Sometimes they go overboard, and it doesn't get called though.. Stealing signs is NOT considered legit baseball tactic. Just like taking a peak to the catcher's signs while at bat is not done. Baseball is defined by rules and codes. Certainly what A-rod did was not part of that. Why else would the Jays players be so incensed about it? Arod should have been called out. But I don't think there's a precedent in MLB baseball for something like this, so the umps let it go.
