arod says **** YOU to papelbomb's 0-2 fastball

mariano says **** YOU to that middle of the lineup

red sox :lol

only 6 games back of the wildcard in the loss column with 100+ games left...yanks are far from done. so many people will be eating crow when this season is over.

Thoughts:

Abreu showed some signs this series. If he's really hitting again, and if that play he made in the OF restores his confidence, he can un-Knoblauch himself and be a murderer like he is supposed to be and was for the Yankees.

Cano's hitting again, so that's straight. Matsui needs to be more consistent; if he straightens up more, 2-7 in the lineup will fsck you up.

Melky in CF helps the defense alot; hopefully he hits better, too.

OH GOD NO, DANDY ANDY :(

Currently, if by some act of God Pettitte was really hurt, the rotation is Want, Clippard, Mussina, and callups like Desalvo and Igawa. Jesus. :-\

Also, a special fsck you to the Japanese Reaper :lol

I really don't think Mo has it anymore...

Has what anymore? Ortiz gave him a tough at-bat, sure, but he struck out Manny and Lowell, both swinging. If he didn't have it, we'd have walked out of Fenway with another loss last night.

The White Sox demoted Aardsma and MacDougal finally, and called up Ryan Bukvich and Bret Prinz. About time.

edit: Oh, and after that awful road trip the White Sox offense now ranks dead last in ALL of baseball in BA, runs, hits, and OBP :lol :lol

Poor Andy -- can't say I am surprised he was sent down with the way Abreu has been blowing up. Let's hope he doesnt go Matt Kemp on us and just completely fall off out of nowhere. I hope Matt has gotten the curveball down -- we're STILL in desperate need of a realistic HR threat and he could sure help out.

Anyone still unlucky enough to have drafted Cliff Lee (Cle), better ditch him now, he is probably the guy getting sent back down when Westbrook comes back.

Damnit, either the White Sox/Yankees game is going to be delayed, or the entire game will be played with showers continually passing through

These Pirates announcers are absolutely the worst. It's Nomar Garcia-par-ra, not Nomar Garcia-pear-ra. Just awful. Nevermind the fact that half the time I un-mute the MLB.TV feed these asshats aren't even talking about the damn game. Morons.

Old Man Kent showing some range on that last play.

Nice to hear that Saito's doing fine, Says the hamstring just tightened up with no apparent damage.

Jeezus Miguel Cabrera is so fat.......he's like a Latino Al Gore.

LOL, I noticed it during the Dodgers/Marlins series. He needs to have a chat with Penny for weight loss tips.

Welp, they said Chipper had CT scans on both his hands because he can't even pick up his kids his thumbs are hurting so bad........so much for him coming back Friday.

Time for the YUNEL ESCOBAR FUTURE to kick it into gear.

Damn Abreu is looking comfortable out there at 3rd base with 2 sweet plays. Lowe looks to have brought his good stuff again. Lets hope this damn offense can get him some runs.

Why didn't Grady call for the bunt?

Little just cost the Dodgers a run in that inning. :sad Little is refusing to play small ball with a team that lacks power.

Damn Abreu with error after all the praise from the announcers. :lol Twin Killing FTW!

Dirty Sox sliding into Jeter!

He slightly overslid, but it was pretty much a normal hard slide trying to break up two.

HOLY SHIT Torre is yanking DeSalvo in the second? What the :lol :lol :lol

I think that was a horrible move. If not for the two errors he would have gotten out of that inning with only 1 run scoring. I guess the walks killed him.

Damn that was pretty pathetic, 1st and 3rd no outs and they get 1 run out of it. Martin and Nomar need to switch places in the lineup.

Yeah, Nomar is a good contact hitter but Martin need to be 3rd or 4th.

Edit: Raff with a Web gem.

First, DeSalvo blows and needs to be thrown on the garbage heap.

Second, taking him out!?!?!

ChiSox's offense has been pretty anemic this season. Why not remove him before the game gets blown out of reach? Umn, Yeah I guess I was forgetting about the Yanks bullpen.

OH MY RAFFY! :O

Yeah, especially at the beginning of 4 game series. It's not like the Yanks bullpen has been stellar as it is.
