Alright, obviously I´m not completely serious. But all I know is I wouldn´t want a player like Kobe leading my team. That´s for sure.

He might be a good wingman for a real leader, superstar and team player, but I wouldn´t bank on him taking my team anywhere as the main man.
No doubt. He quit on his team in second half of an elimination playoffs game last year. Took like 2 shots or something.

Watch what happens this summer when he's not playing with complete bums...

Lakers won't get anybody of interest this offseason, just watch

And that's a damn shame. I don't particularly like Kobe, but I love to watch that guy take over a game. The playoffs without Kobe on a legitimate team just feels wasteful. He's not getting any younger. :(

Kobe is very fun to watch, but I don't like the guy. Besides the witch hunts, Kobe ALWAYS gets calls in his favor because he is a superstar.

Everybody keeps saying how amazing the Warriors have been, as they have won all of their home games in the post-season, well the Jazz have, too. It's all about road wins now, so people could really stop bringing that up, especially seeing as Jazz have home court adv.

and yes, Kobe gets calls, you ever seen him play in person? It is ridiculous. That game was just a few over-zealous refs not giving him his calls.

the difference is that the jazz barely won those home games against GS.

Yup. Really, those could have gone either way. Golden State just need to learn to take better care of the ball and not rush things when they have the lead in the 4th quarter.

Oh, and they need to make their damned free throws.

And the Jazz' point guards don't need to be called on BS early foul calls.

The game was close because we didn't have a true point playing the floor and Fish was out, too.

This game will be close, could go either way, but if the refs don't take us out of the game by calling phantom fouls on Jazz guards when guarding Davis, we should be fine.

:lol kobe's not going to help Team USA that much. It's not like he's going to defend the Pick and Roll/Pop any better than other Team USA players

You're nuts. The officiating is off on both ends. Baron and everyone else are drawing phantom fouls.

There were several times when Baron wasn't drawing fouls even though he was certainly getting slaughtered. Goes both ways. It's time we get perfect android referees, because the officiating has been the determining factor in far too many games these playoffs - for everyone.

That's true. I will definitely give you that. I just hope the officiating is fair this game. No foul calls to make up for bad prior calls. Just open your eyes refs!

The problem last year was the inability to make an open jumpshot besides Melo and perimeter defense. They will win the event this summer and Kobe will be the main reason why...

Kobe asked for a trade?

Just heard Stephen A. say Kobe wanted Baron Davis (before he went to GS), Ron Artest (before he was a King), and was NOT informed his boy Caron Butler was traded until it went down. SAS also said he has no loyalty to the Lakers, only to winning. He will make a power play to be involved this summer, or he will leave...
It begins...

This Bulls/Pistons series is such a letdown. So much so, in fact, that I forgot tipoff was around 3:30. I'm going to the gym so I can come back pumped for the real playoff action tonight.

Spurs/Pistons final seems inevitable. :(

I'm just wondering why Sloan doesn't trust his players enough to play through their fouls. 2 fouls is not that many, 3 fouls is not that many either (especially for your most important player), so why not let him play? He only ended up having 4 fouls by the end of the game.

1. Tim Duncan
2. Steve Nash
3. Lebron James
4. Dirk Nowitzki

Maybe when I see that Kobe is capable of playing team basketball, I´ll be a believer. Until then, he´ll only be a egotistical ballhog that is going nowhere in the NBA.
Lets see how well those players do when they play with Kwame and Smush.

Halftime. Time for more Pussycat Dolls.

as much as i hate the lakers (and they are probably my 7th or 8th most hated sports franchise in the history of the world, and my #1 hated basketball franchise), i want them to have legit players and root against them. i will never dislike a lakers first round embarrassment, but the thing is when teams beat up the lakers now its like watching a little kid get beat up by a bully. i don't need or want to see that really. i loved it last year when they were up 3-1 against the suns and then got nutted on by MVP steve nash. but this year it was like yeah the lakers are going to get the shit kicked out of them guaranteed.

anyhow, i support the lakers getting better so their inevitable playoff dismantling can be all the sweeter!

Thomas and Barbosa were the difference for the Suns. Not Steve trash...
