Seeing as I know crap about college basketball, here´s my humble contribution...

I just love that pic.

"c. During an altercation, all players not participating in the game must remain in the immediate vicinity of their bench. Violators will be suspended, without pay, for a minimum of one game and fined up to $35,000. The suspensions will commence prior to the start of their next game. A team must have a minimum of eight players dressed and ready to play in every game. If five or more players leave the bench, the players will serve their suspensions alphabetically, according to the first letters of their last name. If seven bench players are suspended (assuming no participants are included), four of them would be suspended for the first game following the altercation. The remaining three would be suspended for the second game following the altercation. "

Amare and Diaw are gone :lol

During the brawl everyone from the Pistons went out on the court except for Tayshaun and only 5 or 6 players go suspended, so I'm sure there's some way of getting out of it.

My guess is that Horry will get 2 games and Stoudemire and Diaw will get 1.

See, I'd say that's closer to fair- I still don't agree with it, but that's just because I don't agree with the rule in the first place.

Still, it's up in the air. Let's not all start acting like the NBA's been consistent in rule enforcement.

Yep, Horry should get at least two. I really like him, but what he did tonight was simply pathetic.

He obviously wasn't trying to drive him into the ground. It was a hard foul and Nash was running fast plus he's a disgusting flopper.

Man, the Spurs are PISSING ME OFF :(

A hard foul (shouder check) on somebody in the backcourt who is expecting an intentional foul? You act like Nash was going to the basket or Horry was trying to steal the ball. He couldn't just wrap his arms for the foul? He was trying to start some shiet (probably just frustrated though).

That was a legitimate win- even the spurs fans here are admitting as much- and even though Stoudamire & Diaw left the bench, I'd hardly classify that incident as a major altercation, the coaches and refs did a great job of neutralizing it before it got out of hand. Horry on the other hand lost all composure :lol . Nash's post-game was hilarious, how the **** can people hate on the guy?

I can't wait for game five, and **** TSN, they cut to welterweight boxing instead of the post-game. WHY?

ed:

Even when Nash gets eight turnovers, he's still good for a 2:1 assist ratio.

.. he's not even a top ten player

go go gadget forearm

i don't care for either of these teams, but lol at all the spurs fans in this thread mad about the new suns fans showing up in here... you can tell they're just like their team, constantly whining ;)

p.p.s. konex rooting really hard for spurs in here, now i know how the suns came back :lol

As an NBA fan. I'm outraged about the way the Spurs were screwed in that 4th qtr. :)
they screwed themselves. suns made their last 5 shots, spurs missed their last 5 shots.

p.s. the spurs were only 3 down w/ half a minute, but then Horry ends the game prematurely by losing his head. he should have just fouled him, nash was missing free throws, they probably get the ball with 20+ secs left only 4 points down.

the fact is, suns got in their heads by making the comeback and spurs blew it. plain and simple. that's all on them. had nothing to do with the refs [i mean, no more than any other game]. they make a few of those shots we aren't even talking about this.

I just hate that I know what's gonna happen in these games b4 it happens. Like it's scripted. I called the refs taking over from the start of the 4th to keep the Suns in it. No other major sport is like this. Fukkin WWE shit...

You didn't know how anything was gonna go down. Get over it :lol

Why didn't you call the Horry shoulder check? That was the most "WWE" thing I saw during the game....

I´m not. Weird. :-p

Same here. Spurs let it get away and it cost them. It's the same thing that seems to happen in almost every series they play in: they give away a game that they could've/should've had.

I thought it was going to be win game 4, lose game 5, clinch game 6, but now it looks like lose game 4, win game 5, and win game 6. The only way Phoenix has a chance in this series - Amare suspension or not - is if Duncan gets into foul trouble in 2 of the next 3 games and the Suns capitalize on it. The Suns can't stop Duncan, and if he wasn't in foul trouble that lead (probably) wouldn't have gotten away.

EDIT: Also, it helps that the Steve Javie game is out of the way.

LOL at the Phoenix "fans" that just appeared.

There are only 8 teams left so the amount of real fans is pretty small at this point. Since the Spurs are one of the most annoying teams around, it's easy for people to jump on the Suns bandwagon.

As long as it's not a Spurs Pistons final, I'll be happy. Well, maybe not if Lebron is involved...

ANYONE BUT NASH
Yeah, I was bieng sarcastic.

I´ve learned to like Nash a lot, despite how difficult it is for my team to stop him. He´s awesome. Amare on the other hand, can go suck on a big fat donkey dick.

welcome to the lakers 3 championships. didn't see you complaining then ;)

Please explain how the refs gave Phoenix that game. Seriously. I don't see anything wrong.

When things don't go the way Konex likes it, refs get the blame.

konex says nash is overrated because it's "easy to pass to a bunch of all stars". deep down he knows that nash is a top 5 player in the NBA but he won't admit it. nevermind that the suns would be a borderline 6-8th seed TOPS without nash. whatever, i understand sports bias :D

How many great PGs have there been who didn't pass to All Stars? If you're not passing to All Stars, you're not doing your job.
