I have no idea how I would react if the Pacers get one of the top 2 picks. I imagine it would be happy... but I might just faint or something. If they aren't in the #11 envelope, well, that would be very good for me.

I know Knicks had a successful '07 draft signing Randolph Morris (rated from 10-17 in the draft) during the end of last year, but if Chicago gets the #1 pick I may slit my wrist.

I think I will too.

And I can just smell it coming...

I'm a Knick fan but Isiah has left me so sour that I almost want them to draw #1 for the riot.

Yeah, Celtics at #3 will be a Simmons goldmine for years to come.

The best part of the lottery is seeing the reactions of the fat and incompetant GMs.

Someone post the Jerry Krause picture after they got the first pick.

And the Knicks will get the #1 pick just to spite Isiah.

I had a dream that this thread had hundreds of consecutive posts saying "I love the Cleveland Cavaliers".

I replied in that thread by saying "I love the Pistons".

Sporsk then banned me and my arms disappeared.

I then got unbanned and had my arms grow back...only to get banned by Sporsk and lose my arms again.

I saved this image to my flickr account because I didn't want to get banned for hotlinking.

I love the Pistons.

and Celtics at #3 (to see Simmons cry/kill himself)

The only time I ever bother to read his column (beyond when you poor misguided souls post excerpts here) is when the Celtics **** up righteously and / or get ****ed. LET ME TASTE YOUR TEARS. MMMMMM. SO SWEET ON MY LIPS.

Hakeem looks like he is keeping in shape. Then again the guy did kill a Lion in Africa once. And he did it with just a dreamshake and a spear (It only took the dreamshake to finish off Robinson, Ewing, and Shaq).

The Dream was such a beast in his prime. Wonder what he could have accomplished with better role players and a real coach.

He could have won 4 championships in a row if they didn't trade the core of the team for Barkley.

WTF do you mean Rudy T wasn't a real coach?
though rudy did like to get drunk every game

You'd wear a Bengals jersey if it'd get you Kenny the Jet and Vernon Maxwell.

So, best case scenario. Knicks #1, Grizzlies #2, Celtics #3 right?:lol

Don't forget Hawks #4 (if they finish 4 or below, they lose the pick to the Suns).

Just want it to be a night of pure misery for the hapless teams. Because that's entertainment.

Actually I think the Rockets lost to the Sonics the year after their 2nd ring. Gary Payton abused Sam I Am and Kenny the Jet Smith throughout the series. It was not pretty. People at the time thought Hakeem needed some more help if he was going to contend. Of course Barkley was not the right guy (and he was horrible to watch in Houston when he would ass push his way to the basket).

Rudy is not a real coach. He was just lucky to have Hakeem on his team. Any man (and possibly a woman) could have won a few rings if they were armed with Hakeem and a bottle of Jack. When Hakeem was in his prime it was not uncommon for him to lead his team in every single major stat. The one redeeming thing I will say about the Rocket's supporting cast is that they were pretty clutch at times when it came to their wide open three pointers.

In fact wasn't that Rudy's genius plan throughout his career? Isolate your star and spread out the scrubs on the three point line.

Only during the Dream days, when it was Francis/Mobely time it was iso your star and everyone stand around and watch.

Yao had a dream shake his rookie year and Gundy killed it :(

BRING IT OUT OF HIM DREAM!

Yeah, I remember that. The crowd went crazy when he used it. Yao also had a mid-range jumper. JVG killed all that.
JVG: "Set a pick for T-Mac and then run down to the post...every possession!!!"

Is there a way to watch the NBA lottery stuff tonight online? I'll be at work here on the west coast, so someone help.

I dunno about live feeds, I know Deadspin.com has a liveblog for it:lol

I kinda wish they did the lottery and then drafted immediately after, that would be pretty entertaining.

So wait, what's the full story on this? From what I vaguely remember, the pick the Knicks get this year goes to another team?

Yep, the Knicks traded their first rounder (no matter which pick it is) to the Bulls for Eddy Curry.

Hahahaha. :lol

I'm not gonna see the lottery, but now I do hope the Knicks get the #1 pick. I love watching the actual draft and hearing the New York fans get pissed off.

So what's this rumor that was on PTI about a 3-way trade between the Bulls, T-Wolves, and Suns where the Bulls would get Amare and the Suns get KG? Surely the Suns can't be this stupid. Now if Isiah were running the Suns...

Trust me you'll be hearing some LOLs in here...which means you'll figure it out.

All I care about is if the Hawks get the 4th pick (I'm a Suns fan).

I'd LOVE for the TWolves to get a top pick, though. $20 bucks we get some "It's rigged" articles written by morning.

i hope to god that the Bulls get the top pick, just to laugh at Isiah. Other than that, i wouldn't mind the Celtics getting Oden. As much of a Lakers fan as i am, i can't stand to see the Celtics being THIS horrible for THIS long. I just feel sorry for them now.

I hate Oden so Boston is a perfect fit for him.

Hopefully he avoids the cocaine.
