Oh...but...isn't this the PLAYOFFS?!

you know it to be true. he shouldn't have egged the ref on, but I'm pretty certain if it happened to a dallas player you'd be pissed.

What does it matter that it's the PLAYOFFS? Being the NBA Finals didn't stop the refs last year :) Of course I would be pissed if a Dallas player was thrown out, I am a Dallas fan. A Dallas player wouldn't have done that though, they don't act like that for essentially half of an entire period.

Maybe if the refs had actually done their jobs in this game it wouldn't have come to this. Probably not, but the refs should know better. Also lets not kid ourselves here, I doubt if Nowitzki or a potential MVP candidate would even be thrown out if they were yapping a lot (Yeah Duncan was but Joey C. is insane). Baron Davis is much easier to eject based on rep alone, much less star level.

Come on, nobody can say BD didnt deserve to biitch. Warriors went to the basket just as much as Mavs and didnt get those ticky tack foul calls like Mavs did.

Eh, I don't care for either team really. I just love to watch good playoff basketball. Which largely depend on the refs (sadly). My father stopped watching long ago because he didn't like how the game was getting called. I probably should have followed his footsteps. I do love to watch the Suns play though. Man they just don't stop running.

For the record, all my teams are all Boston teams. Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics, and Pats. Yes, pity me, I know :)

I think what's happened is you're seeing an inexperienced playoff team losing it's cool.

What I saw was the Warriors just going one-on-one the entire second half and turning it over too much. Chuck called this perfectly.

Bad reffing on both ends. I love all the bandwagon Warriors fans whining, though.

These refs should be sent down to the NBDL. They are horrible. David Stern is going to have to send a strong message to the refs in the off-season and do some training. They lost alot of good refs in that tax scandal, but there really is no excuse for how bad of a job some of them are doing.

#1 plays #16

Did he say specifically in playoffs, cause I thought he was just remarking in regular season? I don't follow the NCAA so I don't know.

What they need to do is step back and decide how games SHOULD be called. Right down the line. Decide if they're going to be loose with calls, or call it like it SHOULD BE CALLED. None of this bullshit superstar treatment or w/e. Blah blah. I'm sick of that shit. You know a sport is ****ed when you have sports writers and talking heads on ESPN saying shit like "There's no way Shaq is fouling out again, he'll have to murder someone." Or add in some other shit. That's proof that this league's officiating is bullshit.

Hockey had this problem and some of the superstars retired and have gone on record as saying it was because of the officiating and the rules not being enforced (Wayne and Super Mario are prime examples) NHL went back and started calling the game like it should be called and the games are much better, higher scoring, and turned out a better product overall. NBA should take a look at it and decide how every game in the league will be called.

I haven't had to bust this out in a month

The only real part of that game that didn't make sense: Why give the first T to Baron and Diop, not Baron and Terry?

My guess would be Baron because he swiped at the ball well after the whistle, and Diop because he came over and got in the face of Davis to help out Terry. Terry didn't really do anything that I saw.

The Warriors had only 9 assists this game?

That's why they lost. Period.

Told ya'll, too much one-on-one for them tonight. I thought the Warriors thrived in the open, flashy, passing and dunking game?

Yeah, after a little cooling down: We lost that game because we haven't been playing our style, in either game. I hope we see it at home because we are exponentially better in Oracle arena. We usually average 23-24 assists, Baron only had 2, with 6 TO's. He usually has 0 TO's and 10+ assists.

That entire game was not what we wanted to do.
