Is it fair to say the the Rockets are pretty much ****ed for game 6? They can't even buy a call on their home court, so how can they expect to get anything in Utah.

U guys barely won the game today...no way they gonna win in game 6 @ Utah.

Yea its fair to say we will be playing a game 7.

But we´ve forgiven the under the table payment he received for making that foul. Now he has promised another title to amend his mistake.

Sadly, I have to agree there. No one left is capable of beating the Spurs.

To tell you the truth, I´m probably one of the few(and I´m including Mavs fans) that think Dallas can come back and I wouldn´t be shocked.

Still, the Warriors are looking damn good right now.

It all rests on Dirk and he hasn't shown any fire or killer instinct. They all looked scared in the last 5 minutes of the game. Their attitude and comments after the loss wasn't very hopeful.

Dallas can't even beat the Warriors twice in the last 7 matchups. They can't beat them 3 times in a row unless there is a huge shift in the gameplan.

Damn Tmac looks old and across between Bill Cosby and fat Magic.

At the very beginning of the year I picked the Spurs to win it all, truthfully. They never fail to win every other year!

(At the beginning of the playoffs I picked the Heat to stop that trend :(

did you miss 2001?

Avery blasting dirk for being a pussy...And he has every right too. He shouldve just shut the **** up and took the fines.

Ryan M in Dallas: "Has any city had its collective sports groin kicked in more in 12 months than Dallas has since last June? Summer 2006 gets our hopes up to unprecedented levels as the Mavs pull off the impossible and win an OT Game 7 in San Antonio. So follow that with the worst collapse in NBA Finals history. Two words: Tony Romo. This summer, the Stars (an NHL team ... that's pro hockey for those who forgot) rally back from down 3-1, only to totally fall apart in the third period of Game 7 in Vancouver. And then probably the worst of all, the Mavs win 67 games in preparation for healing the wounds of 10 months ago, only to pull what looks to be the greatest no-show stunt in sports, ever. Have five million people ever simultaneously sworn off sports fandom forever?"

pretty much

Interesting. In the 2003 NBA Playoffs the number one seeded Pistons faced off against number eight Orlando.

Detroit was down 3-1 by Game 5. They lost the first, won the second, and dropped the third and fourth.

... will history repeat itself? :D

Stern: "Well, Dirk, maybe the playoffs didn't turn out the way you planned, but for 82 meaningless games during one of the worst seasons of my 23-year tenure, you were the best player in a terrible league. Unfortunately, voting for the award happens right after the regular season, so voters weren't able to factor in your complete meltdown in Round 1 against Golden State. You didn't just fail to step up like an MVP should, you whined and complained the entire series, disgraced your teammates and embarrassed your fans. Not since David Hasselhoff has America been so embarrassed by a German. I don't know whether to hand you this trophy or smash it over your head. Lucky for you, this is being televised, so I can only hand you the trophy and congratulate you on the 2006-07 Most Valuable Player Award. I'm going to leave now so I can throw up."

:lol i can totally hear this in stern's voice

After winning game 4, Baron Davis never said Tmac's famous line.

I doubt it. No one will step up. Then we'll hear Dirk cry all summer about various reasons why they lost. It'll be good times.

If you ask nicely I'm sure the folks in the Cleveland of the South (Houston) could give you some tips on how to cope.

eh?

You really dont like Houston teams much do you Karakand? :lol

Houston hasnt had that much shit happen to them in one year, unless you want to count that Oiler collaspe to Buffalo as equal to all this Dallas stuff.
