I can see that Miami is now playing with urgency...you can see it in their step. Where the **** this all game long!?

It was there in the beginning of the 4th. But once the Bulls made a couple of shots in a row, the Heat seemed to lose that urgency again. Deng is a beast tonight.

this game was horribly officiated, it's clear that the NBA wants to preserve that Chicago market so they're giving them a bit of a push this year.

Even though I'm a Heat fan I truly disagree with everything you just said. You're not going to beat a team that was like 100% shooting threes and Luol Deng making every shot he ****ing takes. Add the fact that Shaq can't hold onto the ball/make a layup, and you think we deserve to win?

Nah, Riles made the mistake of sitting Wade when he was getting to the hoop at will...

did we acquire kwame brown overnight?
I don't know. Detroit seems to play at that tempo on defense for four quarters. We only turn it up at the end, for some reason. It's too late to try and get Shaq involved, he's cold. He hasn't been in long this 4th, and most of that time he wasn't seeing the ball. Wade's shot isn't falling like it normally would right now. We had a miserable 3rd quarter, and as noted, we let Deng get hot. I blame the 3rd quarter for both of these losses (no, I don't think we're coming back). That's an issue of halftime adjustments, which means a coaching problem. PEACE.

Well said Pheeniks.

That is not true at all. Heat haven't played well enough to win. It has nothing to do with how the game is called. Deng is going off tonight and good or bad calls have nothing to do with that.

Okay, Dwyane. If you're going to call out Nowitzki for not wanting the ball in crunch time, then don't give the ball to Antoine.

**** this

Yeah that was really weird. Wade gets like 4 layups/dunks in a row, then Williams takes a retarded transition three and suddenly Deng just goes all Kobe on the Heat and the game is over in a flash.

Has a defending champion ever lost in the first round before (with most or all of their team returning)?

The Spurs did but i believe thats the year Duncan blew out his knee.

This series isn't over though. We have three games at home, and we're WAY better at home..and the bulls can't keep shooting like this.

(and we'll probably get some friendly whistles)

They need to fix the seeding system. Records should be all that matter. Divison titles should only guarentee a playoff spot, nothing more. Everything should be seeded by record.

This was really inevitable though. Do you think the basketball gods would let Antione, White Chocolate, Payton and SuperDouche Alonzo Mourning win TWO nba titles? Hell the first was just for shits and giggles.

uhh, they did. This is why Chicago has home court advantage despite being a 5th seed.

Deng has 6 assists. Please don't insult him.

people have been saying that for a while, but the nba wants to give some incentive for winning your division. I think they should just screw divisions and do it by record

in game 3, posey is going to go after deng. he better watch his back
Posey is getting an early start! :lol

If the Bulls don't let up in game 3 this series is going to be over quick. Miami just looks so slow and unathletic next to Chicago. Just imagine if Kobe could play on a team like Chicago... :(

Heat in 6 or 7, I guarantee you. Kirk Hinrich and the rest of these scrubs Wallace, Deng, Gordon, Nocioni, Sefolosha are gonna go home and begin their fishing trip. The defending champs are NOT going to go down without a fight. I know this team.

2-0 is a great start, but it will be a different series in Miami. Plus, after the chokejob against Washington two years ago, a 2-0 lead does not automatically win the series.

And Deng is officially my favorite Duke player of all time. And I hate Duke.

Miami in 7. Book it. This is just embarassing, though. The inability to stick with the gameplan will always screw us. There will be no consistency until we find consistent production. When we didn't run it through the big man last season, Wade was dominant. Since he's not right now, we need to get back to the original plan. Otherwise, Shaq is just a big, slow liability against a team like Chicago. It's why I feared the Suns the most last season and again this season. On to Game3. :( Here's hoping I don't jinx the Lakers again tonight. PEACE.

Man I would love to have some of those "scrubs" on the Rockets.

This must be saved for future ownage.

Now on to the game of the night. Where the Lakers playoff chances rest on the shoulders of a rookie and Smush Parker. Obviously the Suns must be scared...

I agree 100% with this one. You can book this post too!

*Awaits David Stern joke

Thanks God we won that game, friggin Nachbar though. We need to stop him. Now we need to win a game in NJ and we might have a chance.

WTF Barkley with the worst analogy of all time. Even Magic is shaking his head at that one.

"YOU GOT A NEW CAR...DEN TAKE THE OLD CAR...BUT DRIVE THE OLD CAR!"

these guys need to stop calling the nba champs the "world champions". it doesn't really make sense anymore unless the nba champs beat the euroleague champs

They are so stupid. If Ko9be waits vs the Suns we will be down 20 @ halftime....

I still can't believe he called Kobe the best player in the NBA...

WTF is going on?

What garbage, the Heat just suck in Chicago don't they. I hate playing this team, why did it have to be Chicago. It started at the end of the second quarter when that white dude scored 7 points in like 10 seconds. Then the start of the third was a disaster, thats it, there is no coming back from that. AND WHO THE HELL IS LUOL DENG!! Second game in a row, who is this dude.

Chicago is playing great, yes its time to start getting scared. But we have been down 0-2 before, and chicago is no dallas. So keep the faith. Hopefully I will be going to game 3, the must win.

Strange night.

Crazy pass by Nash I didn't even see Marion in the screen when he made it.

Walton just got his shit pushed in.

I wanted to avoid Chicago at all costs too. And all they had to do was beat New Jersey, but NO

And we could've helped ourselves by beating the goddamn bobcats twice. see shaq, regular season matters :(

I just hope the Raptors will finally stop playing like crap. Then they really have a shot at this series.
