Rolio said:People, when they watch the Spurs, confuse wild histrionics and childish behavior for passion. Kenyon Martin or KJ aren't any more passionate about the game than Tim Duncan just because his fire burns inside.

you can only do that to shaq or yao apparently
Kak.efes said:The matchups in the east have been so dull compared to what the west has had to offer. Three of the four ECF series will more then likely be sweeps.
edit- Tmac isnt even close to Kobe....you hear me DM!
Big Zep said:Why isnt Yao fighting for position?! He gets 3ft from the block and stops...turn around and keep fighting until your deep. That trying to move them with your back BS aint gonna work obviously if the refs aint calling pushing off.
Are you surprised by that?Kak.efes said:The matchups in the east have been so dull compared to what the west has had to offer. Three of the four ECF series will more then likely be sweeps.

Out of the 8 playoff teams from the East, only Detroit and Chicago would definitely be in the West´s top 8. The rest of the teams would have to fight it out for the 6th and lower spots.

The Stealth Fox said:At this rate, I'll be joining the Warriors bandwagon soon. It feels so great, even when the Warriors lose. Because the Warriors rock no matter what.
woodchuck said:That's pretty weak dude. You can only jump on a bandwagon like that in the NCAA tournament.
Shinobi said:What's that gotta do with anything? It's simply a case of bad matchups. Dallas won 66 games and they've been absolutely embarassed by a team that needed to win seven straight in April just to get into the playoffs at .500.
The only series that hasn't had a blow out so far is San Antonio/Denver, and that's despite the Spurs being overwhelming favourites to advance from that series in easy fashion. Doesn't mean the Spurs aren't a great team or the Nuggets will pull off the upset...it's simply a case of two teams matching up well.

The Stealth Fox said:But that series is like an NCAA atmosphere.
Don't worry, I still want the Rockets to pull this one out. If they don't win Game 5 though, series is over pretty much.
But say, what if the Warriors lose the series? Then what... who will I root for?
Identity crisis am here.
True dat.woodchuck said:the Warriors would probably be first in the East if they were healthy all season.
If Rockets and Warriors lose, you don't root for anybody. You root against teams.
