No I am talking about how the Spurs always seem to let teams hang around in series.

Spurs had a chance for the kill in game 2 and they were happy to go home with a split. Won't matter if they take care of business at home, but a true champion (i.e. Lakers 2000-2002) knows how to finish a team off when they are down.
 
But who says the Suns were down? The Spurs didn't blow them away in the 1st game and yesterday they HAD to win at all cost playing with a really high energy level, while the Spurs were missing easy open shots that normally fall. I wish the Spurs would've put a little more effort into it, but I find it to be a completely normal situation that can happen at any time.
 
the Suns are good. I'll give them that. They would be REALLY good if they get Oden (they have the Hawks 1st round pick this year)

I think its top 3 protected though. Part of me thinks they would pick Durant though (to fit their system). But Oden can run too, so I don't know....

Yeah it's top 3 protected. I heard if they get 4-5, they are going to try and trade it and marion for 1-2. Who knows if another team does this though.

Yeah it freaking rocks. Especially after they just flat-out sold for cash their pick from last year (granted, it probably wouldn't have amounted to much, but still, just selling your pick!?). I think Noah would be a really good fit for them. Now get that #4 Hawks!
 
Suns are gonna have a crazy off season no matter what it seems. They have alot of options.

BTW, I think they should draft Brewer (sp?) from Florida.

Suns should have held out and gotten an unprotected pick, but I realize that for a team like the Hawks Top 3 protection can be even more important.
 
What weaknesses do the Suns need to address in the draft?

Other than Raja, their starting five already looks pretty stacked to me.

I agree. He looked like the most completely player on the court in that championship game. His slashing style would fit right in with the Suns too. Scary prospect...

At least the Pacers 1st round pick is protected if they get in the top 3... come on luck!

I have no problem with the trade. JAX needed to go. Just like JO has to go this off season. I just have to accept the Pacers will be lousy for a few years (unless they get the 1 or 2 pick this year). Just when my football team (49ers) seem to be turning it around, the Pacers become unwatchable. Boo!

So, the raptors have a ton of cap freed up for the 09/10 free agent class, and guess which disgruntled elite level player can option out of his deal that summer?

Noah would have to condition a lot more to fit in with the Euroleaguers. A LOT.

Like TCG said, Brewer would probably be a better fit there. Especially if he knocks down threes like he did in the Final Four.

As Diaw and others have shown, it's not just about physical ability but also team mentality, which Noah has by boatload. I'd be happy with either one and hope that the Suns are in the position to draft either.

This is true. Everyone is so down on Noah that it seems like worst-case scenario we will get him (and Suns are rumored to be very interested). Not bad at all. Thanks Joe Johnson!
