This is a pretty good article about the AL Central this year: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/colum...on&page=rumblings&lpos=spotlight&lid=tab3pos1

It's funny reading the blurbs about each team. If you would have told me this about the White Sox 60 games into this season:

Linebrink and Dotel have helped turn this bullpen into the best 'pen (2.80 ERA) in the league. Gavin Floyd and John Danks have answered their doubters. Jose Contreras has reincarnated himself -- again. And the White Sox have spent 45 days in first place

...

BEST REASON TO THINK THEY'LL WIN: Let's see now. The rotation leads the big leagues in quality starts (38). And the relief crew leads the league in bullpen ERA. So this is a win-the-World Series pitching staff. And it's a good thing, considering the offense has scored two runs or fewer 18 times.

I would have called you a fucking idiot

so the devil rays are back? we've all known since spring training training they were a bunch of morons... no that i care that they fight the red sox but....

You're fucking stupid, like "duh" stupid.

The Sox faced the two worst pitchers in the league (Garza (or was is Sonnanstine? Either way they both suck) + Edwin) and you're surprised the Rays lost? Any Rays fan will tell you it's always luck when Garza and Edwin win, and extreme luck when Sonnanstine goes on his good spress.

And Shields has been struggling lately. I fail to see how this is the "Devil Rays" since they're still in second place and still better than most of the teams in baseball.

Besides, atleast we don't try to harm players like the two worst teams in baseball the red sox and the yankees who keep trying to harm a foreign player who is japanese by trying to spike slide him.

And Crisp is a criminal anyways. Why this sad sack of shit isn't in jail yet is beyond me. His whole family where criminals.

See, Shields is a man, he doesnt even have to look at that dumb crook to throw a punch in defense when Coco tries to intentionally harm him.

Maybe he can get addicted to coke like Josh Hamilton and then get kicked from the league only to rebound later to be a good player, but we know thats asinine.

And Rays players getting suspended? Riiight. Maybe Gomes for charging again but the others no. The Red Sox are fucked. Coco will get a harsh penalty, Shields won't get anything for defense.

Maybe if the Red Sox and the Yankees didnt have to cheat with having all the rules in their favor and steroids, then bullshit like this wouldn't happen.

And then the Red Sox get free throws at the players in the game. I hope you catch cancer again Lester. Fucking scumbag cheaters.

Sorry but it's inexcusable that Lester gets to stay in after hitting four different players.

FAIR AND BALANCED GAME HUH GUYS?!

Shields wound the fuck up on that haymaker. If Coco doesn't bust out with that crazy dodge then he's laid out in the middle of Fenway.

Be glad he didn't throw his changeup.

Lolz, I was coming to post that. But, that was a great dodge.

I think my Bruce Avatar is bad luck. I didn't wear my new Phillies hat (Pete Rose-Era throwback) all week because I didn't want them to beat the Reds, but that was a reverse Jinx! I'm actually ordering a Montreal Expos hat right now. That surely can't cause any bad mojo.

Yea, our aces shut him down but really thats expected(for any upcoming player)

If Coco isnt suspended the most (he was getting suspended anyways before that fight for spike sliding into 2b), then that's ridiculous.

MLB is in a sorry state currently.

So yeah just wondering something..Pirates take a 3b with the 2nd pick....where does that leave Neil Walker? move to another position? back to C?

Coco's matrix-style punch dodge was the greatest thing about this game. And if anyone didn't hear Coco's post game comments, please let me paraphrase: Coco thinks the Rays are a bunch of little girls.

The Sox just showed the team with the most home games in baseball that away games are hard and stuff. Especially when your shortstop tries to break a baserunner's fingers and the other guy fights back. Coco can't hit a baseball or a throw a punch, but he's got fire!
