honestly, just think back on all the games he's cost because of bullpen management or pure idiotic decisions.
just tonight:
-batting francoueur 5th (9 LOB)
-the failed squeeze play (when this team has demostrated repeatedly that it can't put down a bunt)
-WTF Ohman CS on second base (more scoring opportunities squandered)
-bringing in Boyer instead of leaving Ohman in (Ohman had thrown just 9 pitches)
-bringing in acosta to pitch when he's been horrible his last 4 appearances
Well sure, many of the teams problems are the players fault (lack of timely hitting, subpar defense, lack of fundamentals), but anyone can notice at least a couple of questionable decisions daily with Cox.

Well to be fair Philly's pen has pitched 20 more innings because our starters have gone longer, so it's basically a wash with most of those numbers.
Either way, it's been years so I actually had confidence in my team's bullpen and I've gotta say it feels pretty nice.
