I'd love for Gagne to prove everyone wrong especially since he was a Yankee MVP last year.

What's this I hear about the Dodgers willingness to trade LaRoche for a middle reliever?

You guys should talk to us :D
Not anymore Proctor is coming back! oh happy days! Dodgers have plenty of middle relievers.

WTF is up with all these Mark Teixeira to the Doyers rumors...

NO!
Not going to happen.

Lineup for Today! Best hitting lineup for the Dodgers so far this year. I prefer Kemp batting lead off, Ethier batting 2nd and Pierre bat 8th.

Pierre, LF
Kemp, CF
Martin, C
Kent, 2B
Loney, 1B
Garciaparra, SS
Blake, 3B
Ethier, RF
Kershaw, LHP

Edit: Also Kent should be batting 8th or something because he has not earn the 4th spot.

Colorado game. Torre burn up the bullpen because he was afraid of Coors field.

When did this happen:

Torre pulled his starter at 74 pitches with two outs in the fourth because he gave up two runs in the inning. Two runs that made the game eleven to three. Nothing like having to get five and a third innings out of your bullpen in a game you were leading by 8.
:lol

I'm not sure why the Mariners are playing hardball with a simple salary dump. Yankees are the only team that would take on his salary and actually have a use for him, but they could easily just say "blow me" to Seattle and go along their merry way with the roster they got. The Mariners have no leverage yet they act like they do.

Mike: I don't wanna hearer anythin about Santana. Mets fans he gave up 1 run! That doesn't scream ace to me! He gotter beat by Pujols! Talk to me when he pitches 12 innings of shutout ball- then he'll be worth his contract

Mosaic is the greatest thing ever. I get to watch the Brewers winning and the Cubs and Cardinals losing, all at the same time on one nice screen.

What a country.

Maddog: HE STINKS!! HE'S NO LINCECUM!! YOU SEE SATURDAY'S GAME?? 10 K's!! WHY CAN'T SENTENA DO THAT?? HE'S A DIVA!!

EDIT:
Joel Sherman and Mike Puma speculate on Manny to the Phillies, noting how Charlie Manuel and Ramirez have remained close since Manuel was his hitting coach in Cleveland. They go on to list Arizona as having interest as well.
The Phils J.A. Happ was pulled from his minor league game after K-ing a batter and having pitched only 2 2/3 innings. He apparently did not appear to be injured.

Happ may be gone, but does this mean Manny is on his way to Philly?

u recognize parody when u see it?

Yes I do but its so funny listening to them when the Mets are doing well. It makes them so angry... You think the station of the Mets would have atleast casters with neutral Mets bias. Oh well I guess Boomer has enough bias for the entire staff.

Because Sabathia and Sheets are scheduled to pitch the next two days and they only average about 7 innings per start between them. Gotta save that bullpen!!

Or, because Ned Yost is the manager and no one has set him on fire yet. Shame.

With the Mets' pen burnt out after 14th innings Santana's line for today:

Code:
[b][u]Pitchers IP H R	ER	BB	SO	HR	PC-ST	ERA[/u][/b]
J Santana [b](W, 9-7)[/b] 9.0 1 1 1	1	5	1 118-81	2.93

So now can people shut up about him not being worth it? Who exactly did the Mets give up in the deal that is ripping up the AL? Santana should be at least 12-4 if the Mets bullpen could hold a lead.

SO TO RECAP:

Mets 7-4 since the ASB
Mike Pelfrey cementing his status as one of the young guns in the NL
Oliver Perez dealing since his mechanics tweak
Fernando Tatis and The Irregulars destroying the ball
Carlos Delgado soon to be named Player of the Month
Jose Reyes now leading NL in hits and closing in on Skittles endorsement deal
Mets 5-0-3 in their last 8 series, are 17-6 in July and have dismissed any lingering Phillies hangover effect by going 9-4 vs. them

Lulz! only a crappy GM would make that move... oh wait! Anyways Kemp is proving himself that he should be in the fucking leadoff spot instead of the useless Pierre.

Edit: Torre please get Kent out of the 4th spot!

Andruw Jones, Pierre and Scott Proctor for Ichiro?

Kent has gone into another funk, Why is he batting ahead of Nomas?

i would actually do Ichiro for Kemp, Kershaw and Andruw. You know you want it, Doyers.

My dream would be to throw Clement in there and somehow get Russel Martin back.
