no sir, fuck you. The fact that you didn't see it coming make you not only rude, but stupid as well.

Brewers fucking suck dumbass there a piece of shit team there lucky to be here they'll miss the playoffs because they fucking suck.

Pence a HR away from a cycle,it likely won't happen, but it sure would be sweet.

Wow Howry is awful, making shitty average hitters look good.

Well that was quite a game for the sox. Lester didn't look so great tonight, BUT he was hittin 97 today, crazy stuff. Picked up a game on everyone important tonight, Rays, twins, white sox.

So Mets are going to need a minimum of 6 scoreless innings out of the bullpen to win this game? I've already accepted the loss and am going back to Bionic Commando.

I hate that f-ing astros killer....DIE ALREADY!... or retire.

man derek lee is a guaranteed double play w/men on scoring position
what a piece of shit, he's got to be the worst 3 hole hitter, they need to move him in the lineup, how hard is it to get the ball up in the air in that situation ffs

Eznark I'll trade you Bob Howry for Eric Gagne!

done.

Matter of fact, just take Gagne, I'll throw in Bill Hall. I want nothing in return.

fuck.

come on, what kind of team blows a playoff spot this late in the season with such a nice cushion? Baseball teams don't do that, do they? Blowing a playoff lock in September?

There/their/they're better than the Mets....but sadly not tonight.

W is on the bullpen, good defense helped their cause.

Niese pitched exactly like the one start I watched during spring training. Needs better command, especially on that change.

Edit: Good to see Qwerty back. :lol

I was impressed with Niese's stuff. He has a heck of a curveball and his fastball has some movement. I'd attribute some of the wildness to nerves. His change up was a lot better than I expected.

He could definitely be a solid #3.

All his shit was up in the 4th. O well. Good game.

He's only 21 and has thrown 30 more inning than ever before to this point, so it's not shocking that a 30 pitch first might wear him down.

I'd give him the benefit of the doubt with his solid repertoire.

Bullpen was solid. Stokes is as reliable as anyone right now in that BP. Some great defense too. Some terrible slides by the Brewers especially the one at second. I'll agree that Mets stole this one, but it hell a win is a win.

I was going to bring up Stokes a couple of days ago, but it slipped my mind. I've noticed that he doesn't get a lot of swings and misses on his FB, even though he's throwing it in the mid 90's. I'm also curious to see how batters adjust second time around, he's a relatively unknown guy in the NL.

He's earned the 8th inning spot, no question about it. 7th should be done by committee, 8th to Stokes.

Astros, why do you have to start winning and making me want to believe in another miracle WC run!? :(

Bob cries again tonight.

It's getting so I want Stokes on the playoff roster. Get Heliman out of there and since Wagner is projected as coming back next week you have Ayala/Feliciano/Smith in the 8th, and Stokes/Sanchez/Schoeneweis in the 6th-7th.

Horrible discipline by the Brewers. How many times did they not run out balls? Weeks, Hall, Kendall ... yikes.

Considering this may be the team the Mets face in October good showing tonight. It just proves if the Mets pen was AVERAGE the whole year, this team could've won 98 games.
