These are quite possibly the 2 worst defensive teams in the league. And why is Walton jacking up 3s? And Kobe's just going through the motions..WTF is this crap?

WTF is up with Cleveland? They're going to have to go 29-31 from here on out to match my preseason prediction of 48 wins.

They'll still get knocked out of the playoffs in the 2nd round. They've had probably the easiest schedule in the league. I think they're about on the same level as Portland or New Orleans.

btw, Lakers suck.

welcome back dude
Thanks. Lakers-age gets another player back off the IR.

I was really surprised to check the stats and find that this isn't Kobe's worst shooting year. It seems like he's been building a brick house out there every other game lately, but he's actually shooting above his career average.

I can't tell if he's in decline or if it's just the limited minutes. One ominous sign is that his free-throw attempts are down this season, even if you look at them on a per-minute basis.

It's really weird, He'll have 2 great games, then one awful. The good games are pretty good but the bad ones are horrible so the average stays good.

I think he's still trying to figure out how to play with a clogged lane (Pau/Andrew). I wish he'd stay focused on defense though..

He knows that Wade has surpassed him and it makes him sad.

This knowledge is hurting his play.

Damn Its like some shitty ass 2k9 player is controlling Kobe right now. Holding the turbo button and jacking up bad shots and passing into clogged lanes.

RP #32 has not entered the game? Is he injured or something?

(Btw, I'm teaching English in South Korea right now, so it's like 2:45 pm here and I can't watch many of the games).

I'm just glad that as shitty a game as Kobe is having, Nash's game is worse.

Btw, reilo, you have to be pretty happy about the Blazers this season, no?

And I miss the old shaved-head white boy look for Mike Miller. The long hair is so ridiculous.

remember when beating the suns was cause for excitement? we should send steve kerr our pacific division championship banner. maybe he'll hang it up

Sure am. Although, going around some of the Blazers related websites, it seems there are "fans" that think this team is NBA Championship material THIS season, which is quite laughable. They're like Konex without the jinx.

They are definitely playing above my expectations, especially after the schedule came out and saw the first two months and thought that them playing within .500 would be an achievement. Top 3 in the West? Never figured I'd see that.

I love how Kobe's getting hyped after doing jack shit all game. I am really disappointed with him these last 2 games

Make that last 5 games. He would be shooting at least 55% from the floor if he had a mediocre shot selection. Right now it's horrible, almost to Baron Davis levels.

Lakers, I love them, but they are in trouble. Right now they are no better than the team that was beat up by Boston in June.

On a related note, Melo ties an NBA record and gets almost no love from NBA-GAF? I wish i could have seen that 33pt explosion.
