Ditto. That amazing browser without 3G was useless to me.

With blazing 3G speeds... I will not be able to hold back.

The only thing that could make this better would be subscription based music downloads through iTunes. I would be a total convert and chuck my Zune straightaway.

I was ready to splurge and switch to AT&T today if a new phone was announced. But I am on a family plan with Sprint, and if I drop my ONE line I have to pay $200 early contract fee So I have to wait until August 3 until I can drop Sprint for good.

What's the point? Twitter has the uptime of a hooker's knickers, the first flood of "OMG 3G IPHONE TODAY" messages will kill it.

Hopefully the iPhone does go 3G today, I always thought that was a bit silly because at least in the UK 3G is pretty standard to have on phones. But hey, focus on the American market, who actually use EDGE, I can understand that.

Wifi connectivity in Moscone is pretty sketchy at the moment. Seems to come and go a fair amount. But the phone is the primary update mechanism. Not sure how well it will work in the keynote due to the lighting, but I will be updating the twitter stuff pretty much continuously.


We're all still kinda camped outside waiting for the line to move again. There is only one more floor left so we should be going soon since it starts in an hour.
