I don't think there are official VGA cables. The only ones I've heard of are 3rd party.

yes, Gamecube VGA (480p output) cables exist.

Yeah, pretty sure you must be thinking of Component cables, which are fairly rare/pricey.

I am aware that they are rare/pricey, but if someone out there has a pair of official VGA cables from Nintendo, I will make it worth their while. I will also consider buying 3rd Party Cables as a last resort.

As I actually own one of those early Gamecubes which support the Digital output, I'll get much use out of the cable.

There are Wii VGA cables but they aren't backwards compatible with the Gamecube "Digital Out" Port, but they do allow Gamecube games to output 480p from a Wii.
