BTW, why is it so quiet at Blackburn?
BatiGOOOOOOL said:What an awful ref in the Costa Rica-Nigeria match. Sure, the africans are obviously stronger, but he has let them bulldoze our players in the most obvious of ways like 5 times and not one call.
Anyway, 0-0 at HT. I hope we can at least take the draw.
They won fair and square, despite the ref's stupidity, but they didn't really impress me. Of course, our coach, as they always do in my country, was extremely conservative and gave Nigeria the whole initiative and only tried to fix it when Nigeria scored.radiuhm said:Woah woah woah, chill out man, Supereagles have it this year, your team lost, there's always next time? :lol

Japan looked pretty damn good, although Scotland on the other hand was awful. We'll have to see how they do the next couple of matches.

Is footballs most hideous ****, Didier Drogba, writing us off for next season because we sold Thierry news? Perhaps it is. I quite like when people write us off, I have to say. I especially like when ****s like Drogba write us off because it makes things all the more enjoyable when we prove them wrong. Of course well have a hard time proving them wrong unless we make SIGNINGS. Delicious, crunchy signings. No doubt the bleating will start again as the press go mad over United signing the English Flamini but I remain patient and clam. Or calm. I think.

he seems to have a good sense of humour at least.
The 24-year-old, who scored against England in a Euro 2008 qualifier in October, has signed a four-year contract at the Emirates Stadium.

I was kind of expecting us to sign Huntelaar, but we've signed a similar guy and probably did for less money. The 24 million Euros part is a bit hard to believe btw
good news for West Ham too

(Reuters) Monday 2 April 2007
Dinamo Zagreb's international striker Eduardo da Silva has signed a new 10-year contract with the Croatian champions.
"I hope I will be here until the end of my career*, I want to live up to the club's expectations and add a haul of silverware to the trophy cabinet," said 24-year-old da Silva.
"I've been here for seven years and I will be very happy to stay on for another 10. I never had any second thoughts about it. This is a great group of players and being a part of it is fantastic," added the league's top scorer with 25 goals.
The Brazilian-born striker has scored 57 goals in 93 appearances for Dinamo and also helped Croatia go top in their UEFA EURO 2008 qualifying group, scoring the opener in a 2-0 home win over England and a hat-trick in the 4-3 away defeat of Israel.
